Excellent app! A true netflix replacement
Overall, this is an excellent and SEAMLESS application. It makes it very simple and easy to add new content to your library and stream that content. There are a few caveats which have left me with a 4 instead of 5 star review. First things first, its a bit buggy. Watching content in the little pop out window and going back to the app is very glitchy. Sometimes it works, other times im stuck on jellytv homepage with audio playing in the background. Also, restarting content is a bear. Sometimes when resuming a movie/tv show the audio will play but again not the video. Changing the resolution does fix this but its a hassle. I also have a few recommended features you should add. 1. Add integration so we can actively monitor downloading content and stop/start downloads or request a different copy. I find my computer downloading viruses from time to time when auto fulfilling request. Being able to stop delete and request a different copy would fix this issue. Its also great for monitoring a movie or show you want to watch in a bit with the family. 2. A in app pop up video player would be super cool. Sometimes you want to watch something while you search for something else to watch. You can already sort of do this but you should aim for a YouTube like form and function, they do it best and you should replicate it. Otherwise, this is the best way to watch and add new content to your server and i STRONGLY recommend this.

Нравится дизайн и отзывчивость приложения, но есть неудобства с выставлением качества воспроизведения – нет запоминания значения и при переходе на следующую серию нужно повторно ставить качество, иначе воспроизведение тормозит.
The Best app out there
I can’t express how good this app is compared to the others I tried. You really hit the nail with this app.
In a sense you set the standard for what a jellyfin player should look and feel like.
Only request I would like is live tv.

Good app, bad practices
The good: JellyTV has major potential. Playback seems to work great. The UI is beautiful and modern which most clients tend to overlook or just fail on. Feature wise it's already looking really great with home section support, seerr integration and other essentials. Navigating the UI is pretty intuitive and clean.
The bad: There is an entire tab in the navigation bar dedicated to advertising a paid admin-subscription by locking you out of basic features. The Admin panel is one of four tabs in the always-on-your-screen navigation bar which does nothing except ask you to subscribe in order to use it. I could switch apps to Streamyfin or a dozen other 3rd party apps (or the official one) and use those very basic features for free. There's also a permanent ad on the Home Screen for a another separate subscription to 'JellyTV+' which is a hybrid between a support subscription, and a promise of access to "future features". What are these features and why will they be behind a paywall? It's a mystery.
Its a new app with a lot of potential design wise—aesthetic and UI are really important—but to be so ham-fisted with two different subscriptions to their client in its infancy leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I can't help but wonder how it will progress if the app increases its user-base. JellyTV is certainly not going to start asking for money *less* when more users join. If they must advertise their subscriptions, don't lock a whole key section behind a paywall while making it a permanent fixture on the screen. And why sell you basic admin features that are free literally anywhere else? I understand the JellyTV Apple Watch specific admin tools are actual unique value, which could be understandably paywalled, but merely restarting my server in-app? "Subscribe to unlock!"
Beyond that, there are odd grammar usages which give away it's a foreign app (eg. "Informations").
The app isn't very smooth and is a bit choppy when navigating the UI but I assume that will improve over time. It does taint the experience a bit especially in comparison to Streamyfin which is very smooth.

Shows promise
Definitely one of the more feature rich jellyfin apps available. I purchased the lifetime subscription to support future development but unfortunately I can’t use this as a daily driver yet. The Apple TV app is good but still very buggy. Every time it gets to the end of an episode and tries to auto play the next it crashes. Plus the main use that I have for the phone app is to play downloaded episodes but unfortunately it doesn’t support subtitles in the offline file playback. The dev seems to be actively working on this app so I’m sure these issues will be resolved eventually.

Why is the app called JellyTV if it doesn’t support live TV

Honestly i dont write reviews but i had to for this app because it is great, makes switch from plex to jellyfin so much more attractive. I love the connection it has to seerr and the design its a lovely app. And thank you for making it. I immediately bought the plus to support you guys and what i love is it would well without needing to pay so its not greedy but honestly if you are using it support them this is amazing.

Odd audio issue
This app plays my collection well but I have run into an odd audio issue. For files with multiple audio tracks, all of them are played simultaneously regardless of whatever default I have selected. Make watching some of my media impossible.
Excellence
Love the UI interface and customization. Would fully switch over if IPTV support (to use with my HDHomerun) is added!

I really want to love this app
I mainly use it on Apple TV and the experience has felt like an app that’s in beta testing as it constantly crashes and freezes up. I’m confident that it isn’t on the server side because when using any other app it’s fine. Other than that the ui is clean and I really like it. It also has the best visuals with my tv. For whatever reason HDR doesn’t work well with any app other than this one.

The Best Jellyfin App on iOS
Thank you for making this! Bought premium and it works really well. Two bugs to report:
1. I added both “Bee and Puppycat” 2014 and 2022, on the banner up top, they both appear with the same logo, but no banner. Thinking it’s an issue with them having the same name?
2. “The Traitors” logo is cut off at the top
Other than that, no issues.

Everything I wanted…apart from live TV
This is by far the best jellyfin client and head and shoulders above plex. The only thing it needs is live TV for my tunarr setup. I know it’s roadmapped but it can’t come soon enough.

I’ve been looking for an app exactly like this. It is clean, works well with seer requests, and just works as you’d expect. My only worry is since there are so many players out there, the devs might get discouraged and move on.
Message to devs: please keep working on this app. You already have such a clean app. It has potential to be one of the biggest jellyfin players. It’s already my favorite by far.

My go-to Jellyfin app
I’m super impressed with the apps (iOS and tvOS). Hands down better UI/UX over the Plex app and other Jellyfin apps. Playback is smooth and just works. Has so many features in the app as well so I don’t have to go to the web interface.

best jellyfin + seerr ios client that i've come across
i've not seen a better UI for jellyfin anywhere else handsdown. especially with something that uses native build. the thing i settled on earlier was fladder but due to it being a flutter app the accessbility was just lost to thin air and i very much value it.
also if even not for the ui, just playback sold me on the lifetime, one shot. never have i ever had my media look better on any of my devices! 👾🧚🏻♀️

Great Design and Experience
This is so far my favorite Jellyfin client for both iOS and tvOS. The design is great, and fits really nicely with Apple design paradigms. The features and polish it has already make it more than enough to replace Swiftfin and Streamyfin on my devices, but I would love to see Live TV support in the future :)
