Useless

The Bad Elf Wombat has been discontinued, and it is required hardware in order to transfer data from this JDM app to your SD card from your iPad. So this app literally does nothing.

When will Jeppesen support transferring updated Nav data to our planes from the most common device we have with us at the plane - our iPADs! It’s kind of unbelievable they are ignoring what seems like their customer’s most common use case. Shame.

Can’t write to SD cards.

What is the point of this app? It can only be used to update the databases using a Bad Elf Wombat, which hasn’t been available for many years.
Why not update it so it can send the data directly to the SD bard via the lightning / usb port and a standard card reader ?
Very disappointing and frustrating!

Useless

If the app can’t update the avionics via an SD card, what is the point of the app given the Wombat Elf is not produced.

No longer supported by Jepp

Apparently, you need a Bad Elf Wombat to use JDM on iPad. Really??

Useless and Worthless

The product has no purpose….the required hardware interface has not been available for years! Jeppesen could fix this but doesn’t. Hope they don’t ruin Foreflight!
