I use this app for my elderly parents. I live in a different city and coordinating jobs with contractors has become so easy for me. The constant contact and communication is key. Photo updates and job progress. I get to hear from both my parents and the contractors! Without Jiffy this would be a huge undertaking for me.

Has been the single best tool for moving into a new home.
Useless
Kept seeing ads about Jiffy so I decided to try it out, my request was cancelled as its outside of their expertise, a gutter extension job, i’ll just do it myself.

Jiffy’s Administrator Messages Aren’t In The App
When I text Jiffy’s head office their text messages don’t show up in the Jiffy app.

Save the searching time
I’ve used this app twice for a handyman and have been very happy with the results. It saved me a lot of time by eliminating unnecessary searches and multiple inquiries. I also found the pricing to be much more reasonable than getting quotes directly from companies.

Dishonest and Shady
Avoid this company - very shady. Not worth it and forces pros to overcharge.
They take 30% minimum of the pro’s job income (used to be lower, and increases to 40% if they get low ratings).
They also make pros pay 30-40% of material costs to them out of their remaining income, but don’t allow the pros to charge this to customers or tell them about it - basically forcing pros to take unneeded risk or work for less then minimum wage or even a loss.
Additionally, they use scare tactics and contracts to attempt to force silence or compliance from pros and customers - look up reviews on trust pilot and similar websites.
Extremely shady, and they seem to be having trouble retaining
pros, so I’d be careful using this platform.

Jiffy app was easy to use and it was very simple to find a high quality contractor to do the work quickly and at a great price

First time using Jiffy, I had a great experience. Will use Jiffy again.

Use the app twice. First time for plumbing and he showed up and couldn’t changed our taps. Sad.
Second time web site for window washing for 215.00 and so called “Pro” calls me and price is 290.00 for less windows and work that they have on website.

I had a great experience with Ben for my bathtub and shower caulking job. From the beginning, he was professional and communicative, clearly explaining my options, including whether I wanted to supply materials or have him bring them.
He arrived right on time and came fully equipped with all the necessary tools, including cleanup supplies like garbage mbags and a vacuum. His work was done with great care and attention to detail, and he left the area very clean after completing the job.
What stood out most was that he took the time to walk me through the finished work and made sure everything met my expectations before leaving.

Jiffy is the right place to meet your needs when it comes to hiring effective workers for your house or project
AI made it unusable
I tried to use this app to help my MIL get a quote for a task. The AI assistant made it completely unusable. It kept asking the same question that had been answered several times and I couldn’t get past that screen. Very frustrating experience.
Corporations giving false security
When asked if they do criminal background checks they were clueless as to why that would be important and tried to sell me that a corporation is doing checks that would be adequate enough.. laughable and sad

Quick headaches
Scammers. They’ll overcharge you and do a poor job.
One of their electricians installed an outlet that caught fire and nearly burned my house down, they do not care. There is no accountability, and no recourse through them.
Spend the time up front to find someone reliable, because you won’t be saving time with all the headaches the jokers will cause you
