What's New in Jiji Ghana

21.8.2

September 21, 2026

1. Messenger now has a dedicated tab for unanswered chats from the last 30 days, making it easier to find messages that still need a reply. The New Chats shortcut in My Clients opens the same list for faster follow-up. 2. You can now see when someone is typing, both in an open chat and in the chat list. 3. Chat previews are easier to scan: the latest message now appears above the advert title with clearer emphasis, while messages linked to closed ads are muted. 4. Promo banners now adapt more neatly to phones and tablets, making them easier to browse on the home and category pages. 5. The app icon now features a refreshed country badge. 6. We also fixed bugs and improved overall app stability.

Missing Critical Feature: VIN History is Essential

Can we please get a dedicated VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) field for car listings?Almost every major automotive platform includes this feature. Jiji should too. As buyers, we need to be able to check a vehicle's history, accidents, and ownership records before spending time and money contacting sellers.Adding verification fields like VINs would dramatically reduce scams, build trust, and make the car shopping experience much safer for everyone on the platform. Please consider adding this in the next update!
