JINX is a social app designed for college students to foster spontaneous connections. It works by prompting users to answer fun questions and then allowing them to select nearby individuals based on those responses. This creates opportunities for new friendships, study groups, and networking.
After signing up, you'll answer a series of engaging questions. Then, you'll see random profiles of students around you and can select one based on the question. The selected student receives a notification, opening the door to start a conversation and get to know each other.
No, JINX is designed for inclusive networking. While it can lead to romantic connections, it's also intended for forming friendships, finding study partners, or even discovering potential roommates. You can connect with people of the same gender for platonic relationships.
Your privacy is a priority on JINX. The app allows you to control who can see your profile and manage your interactions. All features operate based on your location, ensuring that connections are made with people nearby.
The core features of JINX are free to use, allowing you to sign up, answer questions, and discover nearby students. The app also offers in-app purchases, which may enhance your experience or provide additional features.
