No Apple CarPlay or Android Auto integration!

For an on-the-road engineer app, where location mapping, customer contact numbers, engineer driving time, arrival time, on-job, off-job, travelling home etc. are all built in features, it’s both stupid and lazy for the developers not to integrate the phone app with CarPlay and Android Auto.

Instead, engineers have to faff around with their phones in the vehicle, or when they’re supposed to be moving tools back and forth, or even more daft, stop the vehicle, park, turn off the ignition and only then faff around with their mobile phones to see job updates, site details, or get customer numbers to phone if they’re stuck in traffic.

It’s billy-basics; get it sorted!

Micro managing tool

Run and hide if you join a company that uses this app.

Awful

Absolutely awful, locks up, had to delete app multiple times as there it can’t sort. Now started getting adverts for them asking to refer a friend, definitely not. Not fit for purpose for industrial refrigeration, more like job no logic

Job tragic

Has to be the worst app going, 15 updates a month and nothing changes, sending engineers to wrong locations due to jobs disappearing.

Something as little as the screen rotating can loose your progress or signatures from customers.

Needs serious improvement I’m afraid.

Shocking

The app is so unusable it’s ruining my work life. I seriously hope the developers are better at making coffee than apps because i suggest the become baristas and leave the app making to people who know what they’re doing. How an app can just crash whilst carrying out a task it’s supposed to is beyond me but here we are. A tip for employees, if your employer has told you to download this app, download indeed and start writing your notice in that order.

See it for the Positives, makes life easier

I was skeptical to begin with moving to an App for jobs but after getting the hang of it, I can say it’s made life easier. Jobs are sent to me automatically so no need to go to the office as frequently. It took our business 3 months to work out the ideal flow as we added too many workflows to begin with which slowed down jobs. At this stage I would’ve rated it 2/3 stars but after we realised it was our process not the app we made changes. Now it works a treat, everything is on the app so I don’t need to worry about paper all over the van and I get jobs in a reasonable distance of each other rather then being sent all over the place.

It gets worse

New update and now you can no longer see site job history on the phone end; nor does it allow you to accept all jobs at one. I’d rather ruin the environment and go back to paperwork.

Fabulous system

I’ve now been using JobLogic for my business for 9 years, both in the field & as a back office user.

I’ve used numerous other systems in the past & none as simple & straightforward as this.
I would recommend it to anyone & have recommended it to several people in the past.

Only time it gives an issue in the field is when there is no mobile signal to access my parts library, but once tethered to a customer’s WiFi , it works with out fault.
It has the odd glitch occasionally after an update, but issues are often quickly resolved once reported & I’ve only suffered 3 very brief disruptions to service in those 9 years , so overall very happy.

Not good

Do not upgrade to JobLogic. Whatever platform you are currently using, carry on using it. This app is horrific, I wanted to rate 1 star but couldn’t

Most probably the worst App I have ever used. Constantly logs you off several times a day. And trying to sign in is harder than sighing into my bank ffs. And the technical support just fob you off. I’m glad I get paid to use it or I’d go mad.

Engineers don’t like this app but it’s winning us more jobs

Works exactly as expected- compliance is managed through forms and back office can see real time all the team ! Engineers aren’t a fan of it though we can see their working time!

Could be much better

When it works it’s great. When an updated version is available. This is when job logic fails drastically. Same logging on processes should be made quicker for the engineer. It’s very tedious button pushing. Great if your in the office easy life! Watching your day go by. So annoying when you trying to log off. When the office send other work out the app freezes …I can’t type nothing. Argh!!! I just want to log on or off,no it’s relocating another job…and sometimes crashes. That’s ok though I’m being paid to watch this NO LOGIC . Waiting for the thing to update. My phone is burning up. I need it constantly charging. Turned off the location that’s better. No the office girl rang “can you Turn it back on. “ ffs
I’ll use my own phone hmm . It’s killed my battery health over 4 years. Need a new iPhone now to my expense. Cheap phones with small batteries are no good with this.

PAPER IS WAY BETTER ITS QUICKER TO WRITE UP AND LEAVE THE JOB EFFICIENTLY.
It should be as easy for the engineer as for the office staff.

Avoid at all cost

I absolutely hate using this app. It almost makes me want to quit the company I work for to get away from it. Constant issues with ever update. Unable to adjust any times or setting. It’s so frustrating. Just don’t.

Maybe best of a bad bunch?

Tech support lacking, issues happen but real lack of any help or the usual ‘nothing we can do that’s how it is answer’.
Zero help to create forms except with the pleasure of charging nearly a thousand pounds a day for a visit.
They also like to just change the app layout without any prior consent of heads up just to mess you about and usually make it worse. Just develop your own app.

Run don’t look run

For some reason this keeps popping up on my instagram. I used to use it at a previous employer and it was freaking awful. I felt you’d have to trick it to do what you wanted to do. If you ask job logic to change anything it used to cost a small fortune and take forever it was awful.

The worst

This has to be one the most,(I use this term reluctantly) useless Job Management apps ever produced.

Poor connectivity

Overall a very poor app. The desktop version is okay but the syncing on this app is a real mess.
