worst app

i wouldn’t even give it a 1 star! any text that is on the right or left side of the screen is not seen due to be bliwn up to extra large. app doesn’t seem to allow me to change text/front size!

Keeps logging out

Logs me out then cannot reset password. Wait days then reset password. Then logs me out again

not useful for me

This might be great for others, but not me.
Nice UI. It’s nice that you can set your own symptoms/issues for tracking.
However, you can have only one entry per day. my symptoms can fluctuate wildly from when I wake up to later times of day - getting much better or much worse, or staying steady. And figuring out if there are particular things associated with changes is what I need.
I have a detailed spreadsheet on my computer with time segments of three hours. I never enter info for every time segment, but if something changes, I can clearly see what time of day it was, and what else was going on (meals, activities, exposure to hot or cold temps, and so on). But, I don’t have my laptop when I am out & about.
Looking for a symptom tracking App that can time stamp significant things, and have >1 daily entry for a particular issue.

Immediately crashes.

I cannot open the app at all. Very disappointing

Straight forward

So far this app has been great it’s better than logging my health notes in the notes app as it tracks the date. It’s customisable but doesn’t require premium to do so. I can’t even tell if it has a premium version which in itself is unique and it still protects your data. A few things I’d like to see in the future are some more usage instructions most things are pretty intuitive but may not be for everyone. Particularly the treatment schedule I’m not sure how that works. Also I often have to update my log several times a day as symptoms change it would be great to have this flexibility and a time stamp to go with it.

Perfect & Easy

I’ve been searching for a simplified app to track my symptoms & medication with the weather added to see a pattern. This free app has it all. If you have chronic health issues and/or ADHD, this is what you’ve been searching for.

Can’t log in

This app is very helpful with keeping track of my symptoms but I had deleted this app at one point and lost track. I’m trying to log in and it won’t let me. I know my user and password but it won’t sight me in. Is this a bug?

Helpful tracking for my Dr

I found this app from medicallymaddison on TikTok. I decided to give it a try. I am SO pleased with this app. After only a short time being able to see symptoms tracked to give a better picture to my Dr.s is amazing. I plan to tell my Dr.a about the app to share with other patients. Thank you.

Data loss

I had been using for around 3 weeks. It’s a good app from a user interface perspective. Easy to use, intuitive, quick.

But I just loaded up to record today and all my data is missing! No sign of it. Need to start tracking again but with a different app this time.

Love app but data missing

I am correcting this, changing it from 4 to 5 stars. The rock star support team quickly fixed the problem and now I’m back in business with no data lost! This is the best health data app that I have found, and I’ve tried many.

My last three days of data is missing. I thought maybe I forgot to enter it, so I did it again, and now it’s missing again! Any ideas how to fix this? I love this app, but need something dependable. I would give a 5 star, but missing data caused me to drop a star.

Response from developer

So glad we were able to help you!

Filling out past days?

I really like this app, but I missed yesterday and can’t semi to go back to fill it out. I think this should be a feature because I won’t know everything about my day until the end of it, and possibly having the option to fill out the next morning would be amazing. Or maybe I just haven’t figured it out yet!

Requires too much personal data

Be aware that just to use the app, you have to allow permission to your health and weather data.
My low rating is based on their data collection policies. I was able to find an alternative app that has no data collection, provides a useful free version and costs less.

Response from developer

You do not need to allow permission to your Apple health or wea ther app.If you do choose these permissions, our reporting function, combines this information with your self reported information for a fuller health picture, but again, it is your choice. Also, our app is free.

Only works with Apple Watch

I like the looks of this app for symptom tracking, but am disappointed to find it will only import activity and heart rate data if an Apple Watch is linked. I can sync my Fitbit data to the Health App, but JournalMyHealth will not import it. Unfortunately this limitation makes it useless to me.

Response from developer

Thanks for sharing your feedback. We do plan to bring in activity data from devices other than the Apple Watch in a future release. :) Update - 6/27/22 - we now sync your Fitbit with Apple Health kit.

Good idea but bad quality

I like how the app is supposed to work but it crashes more times than it works. Every single time, I try to click on my account it crashes, as well as at lots of other times. Maybe it’s just poorly made.

Looks good so far, but questions about data longevity

How do you address data longevity? I’ve lost years of carefully gathered personal health/wellness data in apps that have died off after just a couple of OS releases.

Response from developer

You can export all your data each month to a PDF from within the app, and then save the PDFs if there's any concern about having access to your journal data in the future. If there are other thoughts you have on ways to preserve your data, we would welcome your ideas at info@journalmyhealth.com

Not Bad

This is a pretty decent app. It’s been such a convenient tool since my doctor asked me to keep track of certain symptoms. That said, I think the app would be better if it gave more space to write out things and had a 1 to 5 or 1 to 10 numerical scale to rate symptom severity instead of just a mild to severe scale.

Nice and simple

I was looking for a simple way to document my health and wellness. I like this app because this is exactly what I was looking for.

Well designed and useful

Great interface for fast and simple recording of ongoing symptoms or issues. I can imagine this will be very useful the next time I see my doctor and she asks, “How long have you been feeling this way?” It will be nice to have actual historical data, and not make a vague, imprecise guess about something so important.
