Love the concept!
This app is very user friendly and makes the travel experience more personal than just reward points. I am excited to continue using it to unlock even more.
App Doesn’t Work
I was super excited to try Journey. I started making my account through an ad on Facebook. Once I put in a bit of my information, it suggested I download the app. When I tried to login on the app, I typed in my phone number on the first page and my access code on the second page, but when I try to proceed to the third page, it loops me back to the first page. I’ve probably try a dozen times. I also can’t create a new account because when I try to do that, it says there’s already an account linked to my phone number.

The new app is incredible! Super intuitive and user friendly with some really great deals. Can’t wait to start earning those points!

Not your traditional rewards program. The properties are curated and the team keeps offerers white glove customer experience along the way.

This is the perfect app not only for points (who doesn’t love a reward) but it’s a great resource for finding fun spots to stay!
How did I not know about this
Tried the app when they first launched 6 months ago..needed some work but loved the idea of earning points and status on Airbnbs and boutique hotels.
Just checked it out again to explore hotels for summer travel and it’s now AMAZING. They’ve got like 2,000 properties now and you can use your credit card to earn points (like your Amex) and also get Journey Points.
You can’t transfer them yet…
But pretty awesome to earn and burn points at places that aren’t Marriott’s and Hilton’s. Love it.

Impressed!
Really impressed with Journey Rewards so far. The app is clean, easy to navigate, and thoughtfully designed. The reward system is simple but effective, it actually makes the experience feel engaging without being overcomplicated.
I also appreciate the aesthetic. Everything feels polished and intuitive, which makes the app enjoyable to use. Definitely a well-built platform with a lot of potential.

Journey Rewards is truly something special. From the moment you interact with their team, you can tell the staff genuinely cares about creating unforgettable travel experiences. They’re responsive, thoughtful, and go above and beyond to make your stay seamless and memorable. A concierge reached out to me the minute I booked to offer her services in arranging cars, recommending restaurants, reserving concert tickets, and giving tips on local hidden gems in Nashville which was invaluable, especially with 10 ladies in tow for the birthday weekend!
All the properties I looked at were absolutely stunning — each one was unique and had cool features that made them feel special (like a karaoke bar in the basement!). I had such a hard time choosing a property, even with needing a house for so many guests! I wanted a house full of character and charm so we could all have a great space to come back to after a long night but also be able to stay in and catch up when we got tired of Broadway…the Highball Suite could not have been more perfect!
I love discovering boutique properties and being treated like a VIP along the way (without spending a fortune!) and Journey offered my favorite things all in one place. They also offered rewards at a place that would never typically offer points which was such a great bonus…so happy I found it! Highly recommend!

Confusing
The app hardly works and cannot figure out how to manage my reservation. The AI also isn’t really AI but guess I get the marketing angle there. Is there a loyalty element to Journey? Just seems like another OTA through Booking.com?
Amazing!!
Journey is my go-to for booking unique boutique hotels and vacation rentals. It supports independent properties and the rewards program actually gives you points back for free night stays and other perks, not to mention their current selection of stays are awesome!
