Need to improve but not bad!

This is a great app and great alternative to UberEats or DoorDash especially to find some more local spots. I will say the top 2 things that need to be improved are the drivers ETA so I’m not guessing when they’ll arrive. Possibly a tracker like other apps provide. The other thing is please please please add an option to add tip after delivery. I sometimes am hesitant to tip a good amount before delivery but after seeing that they did a great job and/or went above my expectations delivering to me, I would like the option to add more onto their tip! Thank you

Can’t even contact your delivery person…

I’m in San antonio and downloaded this app after seeing tik tok ad. My first order I placed went terribly. Waited for about 2 hours, saw that it said my order has “arrived”. Didn’t make sense because I requested them to meet me and I would sign for my delivery. I called the delivery person but they wouldn’t answer and I couldn’t even message them either. There’s no way to message them in the app. I ended up calling the Joyrun support. They didn’t even have the number of the driver and had to ask me what their number was. They were unable to get in contact with them and just said they can’t really do anything. The next day my order was cancelled which I’m glad about. But it’s a pretty disorganized company I wouldn’t recommend.

don’t have drivers info

so, this is my first time ordering joyrun, i place my order it gives me a projected delivery time. the order then says “delayed” with no explanation. 20 minutes later it says it’s been picked up and then 2 minutes goes past and it’s marked “delivered”. i call the driver she sends it’s to voicemail. Call the help desk and they tell me they don’t have info on the driver so they can just refund the money n give promo? so you don’t have info on the driver are they not gonna be punished? so lame never using again.

People don’t know how to use this app!!!

I don’t know why so many people have something bad to say! I’m a runner for over a year now and I’m making a good living by just working a couple hours per week. Maybe it depends on the location but I spoke to other runners in my area and one of them made over $70k in one year! JoyRun is the best thing that happen to me. You work your own hours and schedule and no one can tell you anything! If you don’t have patience or can’t figure out how to use this app and you think you can only make $2 in 30-45 min then please stay off this app because you obviously don’t have a clue how to use it correctly!!

Terrible UI and customer service

Great idea but terrible execution. Every time I refer my coworkers to use the app I have to PHYSICALLY show them how it works or else no one gets it. There’s two options to order food one is delivery and one is meetup at some location. The design looks the same for both and I was misled into ordering from people’s office meetups multiple times. There’s nowhere on the screen that tells you if you’re looking at a meetup or delivery. They send you notifications to join people’s OFFICE runs for some reason and ask for your delivery address when they are NOT DELIVERING. This confusion happened to me and coworkers many times and when I request for a refund the customer support Marco refuse to provide a refund and blamed the user for being confused by the app. Why would I purposely pay for something and not get it? I would give it more chance to improve the design and keep using it but it’s a terrible business if they blame the customer. Delete it and don’t waste your time and money.
