Just Hashi

Just Hashi teaches you to play Hashi properly, then gets out of the way. Hashi is a puzzle of islands and bridges. Each island shows a number, and that is exactly how many bridges must touch it. Bridges run straight up, down, left or right, never cross, and at most two join any pair of islands. When you are done, every island has to belong to one connected network. That is the whole rulebook. Getting good at it is another matter, and that is what this app is for. Nine lessons take you from the rules to the techniques experienced solvers stop noticing they use: full islands, counting what the other corridors can carry, spotting the bridge that would strand half the board, chasing a what-if until it breaks. Each one is a short board where the technique is the only way through, rather than a page of text to read. When you get stuck in a real game, the hint button names the technique that applies and shows you the corridor it points at. It will draw the bridge for you if you insist, but that is the last thing it offers rather than the first. Practice drills let you rehearse one technique at a time. Mastery counts only the deductions you worked out yourself, so the progress path reflects what you can actually do.
