Justin doesn’t “show off” what he can do ~ he simply puts the lesson on the bottom shelf and walks with the student through the skill
Missing basic instruction
Jumps from A to D without telling you how to get there. The basic practice lessons make zero sense.
Will not load
I used to love this app back over a year ago when it worked. Reinstalled after buying a lifetime licence and regardless of what I try it will not load. If an app has to put a message up with a link for what to try when this happens, it’s clear this is an inherent issue that indicates poor code in the app. Issues like this will push users it other apps/teachers.

This is really just to say a massive thank you to Justin. The info given is comprehensive and completely non patronising! It’s fun right from the start and gives so much confidence immediately. You feel you’re in very safe hands and start to believe genuinely that you’ll one day be able to play!

I purchased it before I even downloaded the app thinking it was gonna be great and it’s been terrible service. They keep saying I need to resubscribe.
Used to be great
Not sure what’s happened or if an update has taken place, but this app has gone from being completely reliable and very useful for months to now it takes up to five minutes to load in and can’t get any chords to lock in. Very disappointing from an app that I rely loved.

So, I just started 2 days ago and… to be honest, I’ve gotten a lot better. I can already change notes, and it doesn’t hurt as much now!

I’ve made more progress learning chord progressions and playing songs in 3 weeks than I have with any other program. This gets you playing real songs amazingly fast. Music theory and the “why” behind things mixed in. Justin keeps it realistic and is very clear on instructions. 5/5

I never wanted this app. I loaded it and never liked its content. Forgot to Cancle it and after asking have my money back one day late, no one responded. I feel ripped off
Mixed for me
Some videos are helpful and there is supplemental practice routines. Others he quickly goes through and there is no other mention or exercise to practice. Please put supplements for the riff videos in particular. It’s frustrating watching someone who is very good at guitar quickly go through something that is difficult and act like you should pick up what to do from the video alone. C major scale exercises cannot be paused. The more I use this the more bugs I find.

Used to be worth the money
Justin used to be fun. Now it is third rate songs and the same ol’ strum patterns. Got rid of half the songs I played almost every day. So boring now.

I wish that you didn’t have to pay for so much of the experience I knew how to play emin but I still had to sit through the video I also knew how to read tab and hold my guitar.
