Horrible tuner
The built-in tuner is horrible and not accurate. It does not identify the string correctly. Lame.
The perfect guitar teacher
Justin’s lessons are exactly how I need to learn. Something that wasn’t available to me years ago when I bought my first guitar and the reason it’s taken until now to properly start my journey. It has opened up a whole new world to me and one that I never thought I’d be able to access. It’s just brilliant. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Thanks.

Terrible service
I opted for a 7 day free trial and immediately cancelled it. Had the trial and then money was taken from my account. I have contacted Justin Guitar with no response. To add insult to injury, I thought I may as well use the app, but it won’t let me in, stating that I only had the free trial. This account appears to be a rip off. Don’t touch it.

So far so good but as a woman I really don’t appreciate the first couple of songs we learn to play - they are so misogynistic! Sorry but it’s yuk! Hence taking a star away until you please change those songs!!!
Do not like the new pop-ups in the app
Do not like the forced review and the automatic skip to next song or play the same song every time I finish a song. Also do not like the fact that the library is filled with a bunch of midi backing tracks.

I have learned and improved so much with this app in a short time and it is so worth it
To slow and not enough learning
The app is really slow so it can get irritating and it doesn’t teach you much it just jumps into playing immediately

Tuner
Everything has been great except the tuner was a little off.
Needs Rework
I tried this because it has a library to play along with. I wasn’t looking for a teacher. Everything was copacetic…well usable for my purposes anyway up until the latest update went into effect. Since the update I know have to navigate through the newest screen congratulating me for my accomplishments and asking if to proceed to next in list. Prior it would automatically move to the next in queue and pause and wait for signal to start. This newest where it just jumps to the next in queue and automatically starts really sux and I don’t like it at all. I can’t possibly in good conscience recommend this to ANYbody unless you can provide a work around so that the program function shuffles random or in numerical sequence and queues to next up and pauses waiting for start by user.

Great so far
I’ve played on and off for years never having lessons. I’m okay but very much a beginner, at first glance I thought the app was moving too slow but after readjusting my mind and leaving the TikTok brain behind it’s actually great.. I’ve rectified some of the bad habits I’d learnt trying to self learn, basic stuff like the A shape which I’ve over complicated for years! Looking forward to continuing through the journey.
