No more Human Interface.....
So, there are a couple of things I don’t like about this app, and a couple of things I do like.
One of the things I like are it’s ease of use; once you get things figured out. The principal idea is a good one, the only problem being that there is no “personality” that you are conveying to the venue/booking agent, just what is written or seen on a YouTube video. I’m an old school musician, I’m used to talking to someone about the band, about the venue, exchanging ideas... this can’t happen with a “click”.
Something I would like to see improved is when you click on a booking, is to have the time you will play, and the pay. None of that is listed. You just click and ..... wonder how long and for how much.
And... if they could get SoundCloud hooked up- it’s listed on the platform, that is where so many of our recordings are, we just don’t have that many YouTube videos.
One more thing- when listing Band members- I can’t list one of our members because he doesn’t have a Facebook page. It just won’t take. I shouldn’t have to make a page for him just to list him as a band member on Jyve.

A must for local venues and artists
Jyve takes the BS out of the entire process. No more figuring who to get in contact with, no more communicating through multiple platforms, no more sending 1,000 clips of your music from various streaming services...most importantly, NO MORE DOUBLE BOOKINGS.
All booking, communication and promotion is handled within the platform. Very clean. This is HUGE for venues, musicians and fans!
