Broken in many ways
Have been using assistant on the web for 1+ years. It’s good, grounded AI. But this new mobile app is broken to the point of being unusable. AI written and rushed, likely. I’m sure it will get better over time.

Rushed and buggy
I was waiting for the Kagi assistant app but this is rushed and buggy. You can copy and paste responses because if you try to select text that’s more than a page long it won’t select it properly and won’t scroll while selecting. It will often just stop updating the chat if signal is lost even momentarily unless you kill the app and reopen it. If you background the app while a response is processing and come back to foreground it, it doesn’t update the response unless you switch threads and back again. It’s a very non-native app that’s somehow managed to be a downgrade from the web.

Versatile and solid app. 24 hour auto-delete on chats is a nice privacy feature. This has become my most used assistant!

Funktioniert gut mit einer Einschränkung
Läuft schnell und flüssig auf iphone und mac, aber bei beiden Versionen lassen sich Antworten nicht gut aus der App rauskopieren, wenn die Antwort länger ist als auf dem Bildschirm angezeigt wird. Man kann alles markieren klicken, aber dann wird wirklich der ganze Verlauf kopiert, was ich auch nicht brauche. Für meinen Workflow gerade noch hinderlich und deshalb benutze ich weiter den Browser

Not professional
You have to pay something like $25 for all ai models access. For that you get a very buggy app, models dont follow instructions, deepseek as slow as 56Kbps modem, expect lots of hiccups.
