Amazing

Im Korean but I live in America and I can’t type Korean so I will do it in English. I love this app it lets u connect with ur friends and enjoy the time u have. They even have little cute emojis only on this app. And I think KakaoTalk is in general AMAZING. And I hope everyone else likes this app.

ALWAYS LOSES MY DATA

Periodically for unknown reasons I will be forced to log out and then ALL my conversations will be lost. I have conversations with my mom, aunt, and other members of my family so it is extremely heartbreaking to know that this data can’t be recovered.

A lot of things were translated to English then there are a lot of times you are texting and the language is Korean I know this a Korean app but i changed the language to English so it gets annoying

게시물,그건 없애야 한다고요.게시물에 조금만 댓글 잘못 달아도 바로 학폭 되는 거 모르시지 않잖아요.솔직히 인스타 따라한 거 아닌가요?저도 카카오톡 게시물 댓글 때문에 싸움 난 거 한 번 본 적 있었습니다.물론 재밌겠죠.하지만 학폭 위험성 있다는 것도 알아주시면 안 될까요?

Impossible to delete account

This app makes it impossible to delete your account, there is no delete your account link inside the app, they left it out on purpose. Under account use on the web shows delete account in the app it doesn’t, once you do manage to find the link, you can’t delete your account unless you go back to the app from the web to unregister form kakaotalk, which then fails to unregister with a “you violated polices, do not contact customer support” even though I had just signed up and never used the app. I find this type of account deletion loop a a bad practice, to have to jump through all these loops to try and delete your account, and still unable to.

Terrible

The worst messenger I ever used: slow, unreliable (you won’t get notifications most of the time, you won’t receive messages until you open the app manually and check), existing functionality is MODEST to say the least. Also, login scheme is made by aliens who doesn’t know what’s good UI/UX IS.

초등학생부터 노인분들까지 전 연령대 모두가 쓰는 앱이 카카오톡입니다. 카카오톡은 대한민국 1위 메신저라는 이름을 책임지고 사용자들을 배려해 주세요. 아직 인지능력이 발달하지 않은 아이들은 (부모님이 신경 써서 서류제출하지 않을 시) 무방비하게 숏폼, 커뮤니티의 유해한 글에 노출되고, 스마트폰에 익숙하지 않은 대부분의 어르신들은 점점 복잡해지는 ui에 어려움을 느낍니다. 아이도 노인도 아닌 저도 카카오톡을 들어올 때마다 보기 싫은 정보까지 보게 되어 스트레스를 받습니다. 제발 사용자들의 의견에 귀 기울이고, 보기 싫은 것을 차단할 수 있는 설정을 만들어 주세요. 이윤을 좇느라 사람을 저버리지 말아 주세요. 당장의 이익보다 더 큰 가치를 생각해 주세요. 부탁드립니다.

제발 읽어주시고 답장 혹은 앱 업데이트 부탁드려요

얼마전에 카톡 업데이트를 했는데 친구 생일이 안 떠요;; 개인적으로 이 기능 되게 편리하다고 생각해서 잘 쓰고 있었는데 업데이트 이후에 갑자기 사라져버려서 불편하네요.. 아 그리고 프로필 사진이나 배경 업데이트하면 자동으로 게시물에 뜨는 기능도 조금은 불편하긴 합니다 굳이 게시물에까지 띄우고 싶진 않은데 그걸 또 지우는 게 솔직히 귀찮고 불편하더라고요 나머진 잘 쓰고 있습니다 편하고 좋은 앱이라고 생각하고 있고요 되도록 빨리 리뷰 읽어주시고 참고 부탁드립니다

If I did not have a KAKAO, I would be cooped up in my room without much social interaction.
