Theme's
I gave it a 2 star since because before they did a weird update. It worked Great. Now all of my theme's that I have. You can only somewhat see in a chat box. They have these kids buttons replacing all of the theme's that were supposed to be there. They messed up the news and the friends area. So now you get 2 news mixed in. No changing of themes and or background. I don't even know why I have Theme's Anymore if I can't See them. Please fix. I've been using you for decades and I want the original way back. Please and thank you. Once fixed I'll give better reviews afterwards. I want all of my theme's and buttons fixed.

App is barely usable
Has anyone successfully added a friend on this app? And verify a phone number in a country listed on the app? How does one even use this app?!?!?!?!? So many one-star reviews yet the company makes no effort to respond or make the app functional. It’s a waste of time and does so much less than WhatsApp or WeChat.

Impossible to recover account without old phone
Good luck on getting your account back if you don’t have your old phone. Can’t login with phone number in the US, can’t use email. It’s horrible.
Impossible to transfer account or create new account
LINE does not allow you to create a new account if there’s already an account associated with your Apple ID, which makes it literally impossible to use the app if you’re permanently locked out of your account. That is very easy if you happen to have downloaded the app when visiting Japan many years ago, then gotten a new phone without transferring the account in the meantime. Terrible!
