Kastle Technician

Technician App 7.1 has been rewritten from the ground up and should result in a smoother and less glitchy experience. In addition to a number of bug fixes, the following changes have been made to the experience: Support has been added for Institution default reader settings. Technicians can now elect to apply the default technology enablement settings for the owner company or override the settings in the app. Company-level settings are aimed to help make sure customers have a consistent experience once their equipment is installed, configured, and turned on. Configuring Kastle readers through the “PKOC” menu will ensure that all settings, including the Aliro certificate, are appropriately pushed to the reader, or it will provide an error indicating it was unsuccessful. Previously the app would indicate success even if not all data was successfully pushed. Support had been added for configuring Kastle KR-series readers with data to support Allegion Wallet credentials. This data is pushed during the same “PKOC” configuration step you already do. We have removed some no longer used or supported features, such as beacon management, to make the app a bit simpler to navigate.
