App flicks on, flicks off
I live in an apartment building with the entrance controlled by the Kastle app. The entrance procedure generally works well - we have key fobs - but the app stinks. I touch the icon, the app flicks on, and immediately flicks off. The building manager is also unable to get the app on my phone to work. It used to work. Now it does not. The manager called Kastle and had to leave a message. No one ever called him back. Bad app. Bad company. No customer service.

Flaky, intermittent
App rarely works consistently. Sometimes it works great, other times I’m locked out of my building / apartment. Really not a great experience.
Access to camera is needed pop up is annoying
Loading spinner shows up all the time. Please make the constant “access to camera is needed” pop up go away. The app does not need to use my camera to unlock doors which I specifically turned off in settings. I don’t care about answering video calls - I simply don’t want to enable the feature.
Useless
Utterly the worst app I have ever had the dishonor of using. Never works, always deletes my apartment so I have to redownload the app every other week. Incredibly useless
Stick with land lines
App is bad but the Kastle functionality goes down every time the internet has a hiccup.
You cannot copy and paste phone numbers into this app. You have to manually enter your guest’s phone number digit by digit.
Most of the time the app won’t even pick up when someone’s trying to call you from the call box.
I really miss the days when the call box would simply just call your phone
