Great App
Really useful app. Some of the mnemonics are a little odd, but I’d still highly recommend it.
I mean it’s a bit useful..
I was able to learn a little katakana on here, but the only problem is more than half of it is missing, a little is missing on Hiragana as well like what?
Awful UI
Just give a single page with all the kana in a table where you can tap on it and it opens up the memory help for that symbol. Why all this extra one-by-one stuff needing to swipe through a dozen or two symbols to find what you’re looking for
I memorised it in just 15 minutes
I was using a different app to learn both Hiragana and Katakana. I found Hiragana much more easier and struggled with Katakana. This app and its memory hints helped me learn and memorise it in just 15 minutes!
Perfect app to test Katakana
Tried and tested many many apps but this one is the best in terms of easy usability and testing any row of Katakana.

Audio stopped working
The audio stopped working and there seems to be no way to contact anyone about this problem.
Simple
App is simple. If you are learning katakana it works and is good for studying.

Where is the writing practise section
I bought this app a few years ago because I found the writing practise section very useful, you can practise writing on the screen. The new version remove this useful function.
Audio stopped working
The hiragana app works great. This one the sound stopped after a week of studying.

Broken
The app half works. Won't show all the examples and doesn't work to like it's supposed to.
Good for beginners
Pretty nice for memorizing the katakana characters, especially the section devoted to characters that look similar to one another and how to differentiate them.
