Great app, full of great deals and royalty programs. Simple, efficient and easy to use.
It doesn't work
Just tried the new app. It doesn't work. Pages freeze and error messages abound. Disappointing.
Worst App
Agree with previous comments worst app I have used, takes forever, hangs, completely useless
Works 25% of the time.
New app discounts don’t load or the store is offline or the customer service team call to say that order that didn’t do through has gone through. Tbh not great
International visitors
Please allow for international visitors to register accounts with an international phone number so that visitors to SA can use the app.
There’s are no disclaimers
Bought a voucher for someone, they never received it because they were not registered on the app. Called the call center to fix it no response 3 times, emailed , no response…the goodwill gesture was ruined as a result of poor oversight and lack of disclaimers.
No delivery notifications
When you order, it doesn’t tell you if your order was picked up or delivered, can’t see any information whatsoever regarding orders.
Does not work
This app is shocking. You can complete an order and pay for it like 1 in 20 attempts. I have mailed the head office to complain but still no improvement.
Payment went through twice
You have some bugs you need to fix.
I had a slightly older version of the app, I placed an order and payment kept failing with an ambiguous error message - it should have said “Update the app” . Needless to say the payment actually went through and the order was placed but the app didn’t tell me this.
Out of a hunch I updated the app and went to place the order again, I got an error message about some “code list failed” but after a while the payment went through and the order was placed.
The staff told me it takes 15minutes for an order from the app to get into their system, this is lame.
They wanted me to show them the order on my phone, that’s when I noticed there were two orders for the same thing.
Lastly the app is really slow sometimes, like loyalty stuff and finding a Kauai to place an order.

Terrible App from a first class company
The app doesn’t work. Downloaded it 5 times. Tried everything. Doesn’t work. Says a lot that there is only one review and that review is a bad one. Cmon Kauai, sort yourselves out. This reflects badly on you and your supposed loyalty scheme.
Useless
Its impossible to find my location and search for stores that offer delivery, even though my location services is correctly setup. Super disappointing!

Terrible app
Worst app I have installed on my phone. Constantly hangs when trying to process a transaction. Search doesn’t work. Try and find my local Kauai, no luck so can’t place an online order. Just a horrible experience when using it.

Nope
Looks good but it’s impossible to find what you’re looking for. Also loads very slowly. I used it in store today but abandoned using it after being frustrated by slow loading, not being able to find my loyalty card and then having to punch in another pin code. I just need the app for loyalty and ordering, too much going on in the app.

Used to be a cool app supporting a cool brand. A lot is going wrong lately.

Serious question: what were you thinking?
In the old app I could pay in two taps: pay, enter pin, scan.
Now it’s earn loyalty…scan…tap to pay…enter amount (huh??)…pay…enter pin…scan.
And often the buttons I need to tap are off screen due to wonky sizing.
I love Kauai but crikey this new app is a fail.

Doesn’t work
A nice looking app that doesn’t work. Haven’t been able to order on the app. Either the branch doesn’t show on the app and sends you to a branch 10km away, or says can’t connect to the store even though it shows it is online and available . Has to be the worse and unreliable app from a food store around
