KAZI Tasks

KAZI Tasks is a task manager for people who would rather not hand their day to a server. There is no account, no sync service and no analytics. The app contains no networking code at all. Everything you write is held in local storage on your iPhone, so it opens instantly, works in Airplane Mode, and has nothing to leak. COMPLETING WORK One tap closes a task. Completion, deletion, flagging and rescheduling all pass through a twenty step undo history, so the interface can stay fast without becoming risky. SCHEDULING Swipe left to reschedule. KAZI weighs your open workload across the next six days, moves the task to the lightest one, and tells you which day it chose and why. Swipe right to raise priority. NATURAL ENTRY Tasks are written as sentences. "gym friday 7am !high #health" resolves to a scheduled, high priority task in the Health project. Times, weekdays, relative dates, repeat rules, priority and project are parsed as you type. Conventional pickers are there if you prefer them. TWO VIEWS OF THE DAY A list for triage, and a timeline that places scheduled work along the hours with start, end and duration, so the shape of a day is visible before you commit to it. FOCUS Every task carries a timer. The row is marked while a session runs and settles when it ends. There is no alarm. WIDGETS Home screen and lock screen widgets show today at a glance. The medium widget completes tasks in place, without launching the app. PROGRESS Projects, streaks, and a record of the hours in which you actually finish work, drawn from your own completion history rather than generic charts. TICK The app keeps one piece of character: a small mascot whose state follows your streak. It is the only thing in KAZI Tasks that is not strictly functional, and it is easy to ignore. ACCESSIBILITY VoiceOver labelling throughout, custom rotor actions for each swipe gesture, Dynamic Type, and Reduce Motion support. PRIVACY No account. No servers. No third party SDKs. No advertising. No tracking. Your data sits on your device and nowhere else, and deleting the app removes it completely. Built by KAZI Digital Studio.
