President’s speech
Yesterday I would have given KCRA an A rating. It has always been my go to news station. Today they failed to air our country’s president’s speech. I’m extremely disappointed and don’t think they will be my go to news station in the future. KCRA, you should be ashamed!!

App resets
KCRA I read your app multiple times a day. This is my favorite news app. The only 2 complaints I have is how often the app resets to the top is when I’m scrolling through the app looking at the articles and suddenly it goes back to the top of app. It does this every few seconds. The other complaint is when I click on a news story from your notifications it deletes the other news story from the notifications. Other than that this is a great app.

Too Many Notifications
I recently realized that I had app on my phone but had notifications turned off. Assuming this had been some kind of mistake, I turned it back on - and immediately began getting literally 100s of notifications a day. After a couple of annoying days, I went to the settings and changed it so I would only get breaking news alerts. Yeah…apparently THEY get to decide what you want to see, not you. Unless a story about a the history of a local parade is what they consider “breaking news”, I am still getting all the same nonsense notifications as before. Now I remember why I had all silenced.

I usually like this app but the ‘happening now’ news is from a month ago. It’s been doing for a while. Kind of pointless

Love this app
I travel a lot and this app keeps me up to date on what's going on in the area. Also like the breaking news alerts. Only thing is all of the AD’s. I had to stop watching your videos due to them.
Disappointing
The app works well enough, but the actual news content is not updated frequently enough. Weekends are the worst. Are the story writers all given the weekends off? I’m using other sources for actual “news.” I’m tired of three-day-old stories.

Ridiculous push notifications
3 stars because generally the content is good and they are local but the news alerts are frequently very trivial. Why are you alerting me to a story about an all female dental office with a push notification? I have now turned off notifications.

Worst App for News
This app used to be my go to news app but now it's so frustrating trying to read one article. Almost every single article starts with the opening sentence then ….where is the rest of the story? I’ve tried to email KCRA several times to let them know the majority of articles are missing the story but nothing has been changed. Guess I’ll look for a different app to get NorCal news.
