Unable to login

Just signed up, can’t login after creating account

Password limited to 16 characters??? What is this 2010?

I can’t even use a standard secure password because there’s a 16 character limit. That’s hackable with a laptop. Sheesh.

Forgot password not working

I forgot my password on the app. I went to the “forgot my password” notification and it does nothing. It doesn’t acknowledge my touch. Turned the app off then on and still the same.

Notification don’t vibrate phone

Notifications changed from text to push notifications and they don’t vibrate phone. Only show up

Why

I am convinced that the people who made this app never had to use it themselves. There is no way anyone could have built this, used or tested it, and thought “yep, this works.” Special shoutout goes to the additional guardian account creation workflow, which has got to be the most frustrating process I’ve ever encountered in an app. If you’re reading this to evaluate app options, do yourself a favor and pick a different app. If you are reading this because you have to use this app for your own children, I’m so sorry.

Horrible

Set up an account and then all info put in is gone when I needed to check in. Trying to re-do it again and app keeps resetting

Can’t check-in

Worst interface I have ever seen.
Everything is not intuitive. The functionality on the web page is missing from the app, and the functionality from the app is missing from the website.

Completely unusable

I would give this zero stars if I could. I am shocked that the swim camp we are attending is requiring us to use this. I’ve just spent 25 minutes trying to get it set up with my husband and I listed as guardians. Buttons are untappable preventing you from saving any information.

There are several days when we have older grandparents picking the kids up there is no way they will be able to figure this out.

App glitches

App glitches when trying to input dependent information on date of birth. Makes app unusable

Needs refreshing

Super glitchy. Buttons are not working and will not save information. Keeps kicking me out.

Express checkin Doesn’t work

This was a good app to check in my kids at church but because the express check in does not work anymore it is useless to me now. This started about 5 weeks ago.

YES

We love the updates they have made to this app. Our church has used KidCheck for almost 3 years! So good.

New version issues

The app worked up until 7 days ago when a new version was pushed. The app locked and I can no longer sign in.

Horrible ABSOLUTELY HORROBLE!!!

It wasted all my time because I could not sign in!

Secure check in and check out

I like this third party app that my child’s daycare uses for check in and check out.

Limited user accessibility

Once you do something, you can’t undo it. For example, if you deny camera/photo access you are SOL, you can’t give permission later.

Crappy App - Companies Using Kidcheck Should Evaluate Alternatives

Filing complaint with execs @ company requiring I use this. Looks like many similar complaints and NO FIX IN OVER A MONTH.

Like many others set up account and cannot log in. Incredibly slow/incredibly laggy app PROB memory mgt and other issues.
1) Registered/set up acct
2) When I try to log in, it says password wrong when I know it isn’t.
3) When I try “forgot password”, it says the email is unregistered or doesn’t have an account associated with it.
4) However when I try to create new account with MY email, it says “matching account found”. SO OBVIOUSLY there’s a record in the system.
5) Drop down for locations where app will be used has incorrect info.
6) Sent email to support and like others, no response.

Can’t sign into App

I updated my review from 3 start to one. After the first review, hoping someone would try to get in touch with me or fix the issue, I emailed the company. I had a Courtney Maxwell respond to my message asking what email I was using for my account. I responded the same day. I have heard nothing back and I still can not sign into the app. Again tried changing my password, double checking the email, and signed in from a computer.

Original review: I’ve checked everything, tried to change my password, checked if everything was ok from the computer (looks fine) but it will not let me sign into the app.

Poor Process Design

The “express check in” from your phone app is not express in any form, and is actually several steps longer than if I just used the iPad check in at my child’s school. I have several issues with the so-called “Express Check In” from your phone:

1. Lack of FaceID login: it is very cumbersome to have to enter my password EVERY TIME I open the app....this is an unnecessary step as the extra security is not necessary, or you should at least be able to opt in to removing this step.

2. Once I log in, rather than landing on the Express Check In, which is the part of the app parents are going to be using on a daily basis, it lands on the profile page, which after initial setup I will never need to use again.

3. Too many steps in the check in process. If the process was to truly be “express” it should be one click and the submit when I get to the school. The check in process is less steps and faster if I was to just wait until I arrived at the school and used the iPad. Having to actually submit the check in once I arrive is especially cumbersome....I mean I am walking in carrying a child and a bag, and now I need to take my phone out of my pocket and submit my “express check in”.

The lack of forethought into the actual check in flow for the parents using this app is incredibly frustrating and I urge you to enhance this process so it is far fewer steps and actually a time saving benefit rather than using the iPad at my child’s school.

Alphabet Order

My husband runs the van ministry at our church and pick up 20-30 children. I check the children in as they get there on the app. It would be a great update to put the children’s names in alphabet order. To choose if you want to put it by first or last name. Also if you add a new child, it automatically goes in alphabetical order. A nice feature would be that you can go back and see a list of who and how many is checked in. I realize this is for families but think about the bus ministries as well.
