Worst brand I’ve bought to date
Bought the Carbon Monoxide detector and worked fine (despite this app not working for whatever reason) for a little while… and then came the beeps. So I called up the company, they sent a replacement which was VERY nice of them.
Redownloaded the app (still doesn’t work for me) followed the instructions AND of course a couple weeks later the “low battery” beeps are back.
Time for a new brand I guess 😭

Easy setup, one critique
Just replaced all of my interconnected hardwired alarms, the install and setup and easy and intuitive. My only critique is with alerts. The option to notify me of an interconnected alarm event should be selectable. Since I have all Kidde smart alarms, when one senses smoke, I get that alert as well as 7 other “interconnected alarm activations” this dilutes the actual alarm notification (that matters).

Not operational
The sensors, when installed, worked well. Now, the sensors are offline more than they are online. I’m now shopping for new water sensors I can count on and be confident using.
Leak on first night of vacation
So glad to have this alert and be able to have it taken care of before we returned home a week later to a mess.
Need info on testing the alarm!
Could not figure out how to test our water alarm and couldn’t get help from Kidde.
Saved my life
The devices from this brand have literally saved the lives of my family and I. Detecting dangerous VOC levels, carbon monoxide and smoke. Amazing and well needed in every household.
Useless
Doesn’t connect to wifi. Tried multiple times, reset the device, made sure it was a 2.4ghz network, absolute scam of a company.
Works great and is awesome!
I live being able to see my house is ok 24/7 and testing alarms on the app!
Many false alarms and the app is useless
Firstly, I am experiencing many false alarms with my Kidde detectors. Secondly, the app is so much limited, it does not even clear any of the alarms. We have to unplug the detectors, reset them, and plug them in again every time! Truely disappointed!
Faulty
Late night faulty alarms. For three weeks straight. Cleaned multiple times and no support.
Constant failure errors
These smart alarms sounded like a great idea but they are constantly giving error messages and going off. I’ve bought four of them and had them professionally installed by two different electricians and they have all failed. Very dissatisfied with this brand.
Positive experience!
I was originally skeptical of this product, never owned a smart smoke alarm. It works great! Easy to setup, and if I am away from my pets, I feel better that I’ll be notified if smoke is detected
First Real World Test
Workman sawing into hallway cabinet to install fixtures creating smoke. System notified me on iPhone while I was away! System allowed me to silence alarm after talking to workman.

Completely useless. Always signed out.
The app is completely useless. You will immediately be signed out so you never get any notifications. Then you’ll go in and try to sign in, but it doesn’t save your username or password. Then you’ll be spending 15 minutes trying to reset everything and give up and delete it and just move on.
Plenty of false alarms
The many false alarms I could only disable when I was not at my home location. My neighbors were seriously annoyed by the noise and they could do l nothing about it. When I was at home, with nothing possibly to trigger the alarm I resorted to unplug the indicated device, wrapped in towels and moved it to a non disturbing location. After about 20 minutes I could reinstall it with no further hiccups. A 10 year carefree device should not expose the owner of so much regular inconvenience.

Continuous Unnecessary notifications in the middle of the night. Deleting the app.

Saved my floors!
My dad bought this water detector for all of the kids one Christmas and I grudgingly set it up. but one night unbeknownst to us, Our washer started leaking water through our baseboards into the basement. I immediately got a loud alert on my phone though the app and ran downstairs to check and while there wasn’t a lot of water (enough for a quick towel mop and some fans) this probably saved me from having to replace my entire flooring. Now it’s a staple and I recommend everybody should get this app and this device.
