Quick and easy

This kidney check was quick and easy to use. Seems like it would be relatively simple for just about anyone. Great developer.

Are you serious?

I am 82 years old. If my daughter didn’t do this for me if would have been impossible for me. I have a flip phone and I have never used a smart phone. It is clear what age I am , take this inconsideration when sending out elderly people a do it your self kit. In the event it is not done right , you have set up panic unnecessarily..

Quick and easy

Amazingly quick and so user friendly

Easy-Peesy

This test was simple and easy, but the main thing is that it was so well explained!! The app makes it simple. Video and voice commands were clear and easy to follow. Great idea being able to do this at home. Thanks!!

Kidney Check

Test was very easy to use and complete. I didn’t like all the reminder phone calls I received. People were hard to understand and always came up as unknown caller on the phone. Identified themselves as being from Medica but would be better if phone number showed the call coming from Medica especially with all the senior fraud.

FAQ

What does the Kidney Check app do?

The Kidney Check app guides you through a home urine test to assess your kidney function by measuring the Albumin-to-Creatinine ratio. This can provide an early indication of potential kidney damage. Once the test is complete, your results will be available within the app.

How does the kidney function test work?

The app provides instructions for a short urine test using a designated Kidney Check kit. It then analyzes the Albumin-to-Creatinine ratio in your urine to assess your kidney function. The results are made available through the app.

Is this app available everywhere?

No, the Kidney Check app and its associated test kit can only be used in the United States. Users outside of the US will not be able to utilize this service.

Can I share my results with my doctor?

Yes, the results obtained from the Kidney Check test are available on the app and can be shared with your Primary Care Provider. This allows them to determine any necessary further care or treatment based on your kidney function assessment.

What is the cost of using Kidney Check?

The description indicates that the app itself is free to download and use for guiding the test. However, it requires the purchase of a designated Kidney Check kit, which is an additional cost not detailed in the provided information.
