Terrible

Sadly the KidStrong program is amazing but the app can’t align! Anytime I need to make a change or login, I have to fully delete and redownload the app. Notifications only work part time and toggling profiles also requires delete and redownload completely

Family strong

Works great, love the program

New app is awful

New app is awful I’ve never been part of a downgrade so bad ,this puts the Cracker Barrel debacle to shame. It’s like they said “let’s keep the most useless parts of the old app and remove all the good features” . I hope no one paid for this, if so what a waste of money to the bottom line.

Not any better

Not only was it way more confusing Everything good that was in the previous app was lost. And has been noted by many other reviews.

Worthless

I can’t even get through the sign up screen. I auto fill a secure password and all the menus disappear that would allow me to continue. I thought I’d at least be able to login to the 2 star app.

Mostly Useless

When you can actually stay logged in, scheduling classes is the only thing worthwhile.

Blah

Not user friendly at all. Ranks are not visible. Don’t know how many classes my child has attended or know when he will rank up. Membership tab does not show our pricing.

Doesn’t work

My kid joined for three weeks already. I am unable to see any updates and can’t book or change any classes. It doesn’t even register as my kid is joined. Terrible.

Not a fan

Not a fan of this app. The only thing it seems to do is buy a new membership, but I can’t manage my current membership. What was the point of the switch again? Deleted old information, and made it super confusing to use. Sometimes change is not always a good thing. Hopeful the creators can come up with someone that we can actually use.

Do Better

If I could rate it zero stars, I would. I feel as if they create this app to be awful by design. Completely useless when trying to make class changes.

One star - Do the owners see these? Will they effect change?

New app lost a lot of functionality. Number of classes attended reset to when this app launched, so it’s inaccurate. Cant see progress or rank. Pictures are no longer in app. Only good thing is classes can be adjusted easier. PLEASE update with info about class progress, pictures and rank!

Doesn’t recognize membership

Main point for us was to schedule classes. App doesn’t recognize our membership so I’m not able to schedule. Useless app.

Sooo bad

Terrible app. Barely useful. Old app was better.

Prefer the Old App

I really preferred the original Parent App for many of its features — especially the progress counter, the ability to update profile pictures, and being able to check in from the parking lot before class. The new Membership App feels more focused on selling classes and memberships rather than enhancing the parent or student experience.

My son especially loved being able to see his visual progress toward the next level, and that feature really motivated him. I hope future updates to the Membership App will bring back some of those Parent App features, like progress tracking, easy check-ins, and personalization options, to make it feel more family-centered again.

Don’t Understand The Change

This app has been next to worthless since the switch over. I figured it would just take time to migrate data to this new platform; but I still cannot track my son’s progress, check his class streak and rankings, etc. those were all features that were a great benefit to me and my wife to keep him motivated at home as well; so losing that has also affected him doing the things we’d like to see him do outside of class. I really hope it gets better soon.

New app missing key features

My wife has the email that’s linked to account so now if I want to look at his pictures from class I have her go through her email to send me them. Add the photos tab back in new app and it would be 5 stars. Without that feature it’s a 0 star but can’t put that.

Lost Features

The only thing this new app can do is book classes—all other features from the old version no longer exists. This app is a disappointment, please bring the old features back (ie class progress, pictures etc)

Kid progress and app support missing

I don’t see in the app where I can view my student’s progress toward his next level or rank. The link here for the “app support” only takes me to the KidStrong website and I don’t see anywhere a place to contact anyone about the app.

Adding 1 Good Thing and Loosing 10 Others

It’s great I can schedule a make up class from the app instead of logging into Zendesk, but I’d love for o know where I can find how many classes til the kid levels up now…. Pictures from class? Me and my wife do t always both go to class but it they will level up that class we like to know and both be there as it’s a surprise for our child. Please bring back the old features.

Never felt the need to write a review for an app until now

I don’t think I’ve seen a worse app update in my life. The old KidStrong app was far superior. Yikes. All of the previous functionality was removed including photos, milestones, awards, and progress.
