Great App
I do love the Kinesta banking app. My only complaint about Kinecta is if you have a business and a personal account, you have to have a separate login to view each one. Which means that it’s difficult to use Face ID, which makes things so much faster because it wants to keep logging you into one and not the other… This might be a small thing to some people, but it’s kind of a pain in the butt to me but other than that, I absolutely love the app and I love Kinecta.

I love the app it's easy to navigate and has so much information. Easy to read no fine print that isn't explained. Love it. The Kinecta location in Webster NY has the best team in there. No longer able to transfer from the app
In the latest update, the Transfer/Pay button is gone and replaced with estatements, and there are no options within the app to move money around.

Kinecta Steals Funds!
I'm renting out a room in my apartment. The new tenant sent me a check for more than the amount of the first/last month rent. They were supposed to send me $3400 which covers one month's rent and security deposit. However, I got a check for $4700. This struck me as suspicious.
I refused to deposit the check via mobile app due to my suspicion and went to the credit union to deposit the check. I received the check on June 18 and deposited it. I was told that the check would clear on June 23, 2026. At the same time I suspected that I may be a victim of an 'overpayment scam' and looked up who to contact.
The whole thing made me uncomfortable as the check was made out for $1300 MORE than required and the 'tenant' started asking me to send some of the money to help her move.
I explained all of this to the bank teller; telling her I think this check is bogus. She agreed it was suspicious as well. I told her I wasn't touching this money, let's see if it clears fully before I do anything..
I immediately contacted the credit card fraud department on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, when the check finally 'cleared' because it still struck me as odd and that a scam was being attempted. (I have the text messages from the scam artist 'Cathy' to back up everything I'm saying).
The fraud department agreed and although the check 'cleared' the hold amount, it still felt bogus to me. I told the woman on the fraud line, who I spoke to for a very long time, that I was SURE this was a scam. She agreed and said it'll take a little more time to determine is the check is legit and stated once they find out the check is no good, they will remove the bogus money from the account; just be sure not to spend any of it. I was not going to touch that money as this whole thing freaked me out. She told me not to worry, as long as I didn't touch the money. I did not.
Friday June 25, 2003, I noticed that finally that extra bogus money was removed from my account. I was quite glad. It left me with about $600 between my checking/saving account. I was so glad it was taken care of.
This weekend the refrigerator in my apartment stopped working meaning I could lose a month's worth of food (I'm disabled and on a fixed budget). I went to the grocery store to purchase ice to put in a cooler to salvage food only to discover that Kinecta shut down my account and STOLE $600 from me!
I did everything correctly, followed all instructions, did not touch the scam funds, and Kinecta still removed my legitimate money and shut down my account without cause. This caused me direct financial harm and loss of food. I need this investigated.

I get a notification on my phone that I have a notification from the bank but when I try to find it in the app, it says I’m all caught up and there are no notifications

The app is good, but it needs to be reorganized a little better. It does everything I need it too, but it can be difficult to find some things.

My User Name And Password Is Correct, but your system repeatedly tells me I can’t access my accounts and to try again.
Fix your damn system!!Fire the programmers who created this G.D. Nightmare.
