Clearly, this game wasn’t tested

My heroes are at level 65, stats are maxed out, and more than half my items are upgraded to the max. Regardless, the Well of Souls mage boss is impossible to beat. I’ve spent hours getting my units trained, and I’m on the verge of deleting the game.

I hope the creator makes some adjustments, whether it be making the bosses not “easier” to beat, but “possible” to beat, OR by allowing spells to be upgraded past level 10. 3 of my heroes have 42 unspent skill points just lingering there.

Seems like nobody has tested this game...

Grinder’s Delight, no frills

I decided to get this game b/c a negative review of KH2 complained about needing repetitive fighting to handle steep increases in boss difficulty. Heck, that describes my ideal! I get my intellectual stimulation from reading Plotinus and such, not turn based rpgs. I want to hack, loot and repeat for hours. No ads, no in app purchases (aka pay to win). Yeah, the app doesn’t offer most of what you’d get from an FF or DQ from Square Enix. So what? I loved Adventure on the original Atari, and it was way simpler than KH2!

Not Tested! Too hard!

The game is a major grind and you cannot bypass bosses without grinding forever. Spells are few and far between. My characters are level 70+ and only have 3 spells or skills for each character, but I have over 45 skill points to pump into spells and skills! All my gear is upgraded to max.

Still cannot advance too far. I think I got to the 7th map. The game was fun, but clearly was not tested thoroughly! Too bad, they obviously put a lot of time into making it! Just needs some nurfing of the enemies and it would be a 5 star game IMO!

This game is actually pretty good

It unfortunately grinds to a hotly towards the end and becomes too much of a grind- levelling up needs to increase character stats like attack and health.

Fun!

You can’t go wrong with this one for just $.99. I’m new to cell based strategy/rpg and I really enjoy it.

Not for Casual players

Nice graphics, environment, and gameplay. Unfortunately, the monsters in this dungeon and dragons type game advance more quickly than the players character. This requires the character to go back And replay previous battles in order to gain enough strength to deal with the bosses.I gave up on this game after realizing that I was spending all of my time fighting the same battles over and over again.

Character strengths is also quite complex with Seven different variables to manage all of which advance very slowly.

The game would benefit from allowing users to select a level of difficulty at the beginning of play.

Response from developer

We are sorry, but yes , this game not for casual players. You need train your team, need upgrade equipment, need learn boss tactics

Boo!

Enjoyed the game until it quickly became impossible to beat the bosses. No explanation of how stats are used. No explanation of monster abilities. Need more info to succeed and nothing on the net.

Too bad...just missed making an addictive game.

Not worth the $

- no depth to the game
- heroes are bland (2 melee, 2 ranged (gonna be doing most of the dmg & hope your melee survive long enough to block the path))
- tile battle system is basic & repetitive (objects on field are there to obstruct melee, ranged just shoot over everything)
- defend skill on everyone doesn’t reduce dmg nearly enough
- levelling up isn’t gratifying & doesn’t effect the pace of battles

+ pathfinding is acceptable
- click to move. you ride a horse but feels boring
+ upgradable gear
- power up one weapon to get a better one a couple battles later, except you needed that power up to beat the battle
