App doesn’t work
Bought the E4 dashcam and have high hopes for this. I downloaded the app and that’s when the struggle began. The app doesn’t work. Hoping that this is reliable when needed to look back at videos and can’t play back. Tried looking for the WiFi and follow instructions and it doesn’t work. After hours trying to make this work.. you can’t use CarPlay and the app. Took out the memory card to put in the SD reader and plug into the computer and still doesn’t work.

App doesn’t work since iOS 26
I cannot get the app to connect to the camera whatsoever since upgrading to iOS 26. Despite being able to connect via WiFi, the app will not recognize the dashcam and won’t connect to it. This is true on multiple phones and tablets. Very disappointing- the hardware is good, but the software makes it very hard to get the best use out of it.

Simple
The app likely has updated since some of the reviews below, there is no need to select all videos at once as they auto delete after a good enough amount of time you won’t need them but you can save videos and delete multiple videos at once. I have mine set to record in 3 min increments so there is less videos. It does auto lock when it thinks there is a wreck only downside is the voice that says “recording” or other messages struggles to get through which doesn’t matter because the app has everything it captured. Videos don’t download super fast but they don’t take hours either maybe about 5 min which is fine because you’d take out the SD and put it on a laptop more than likely in an actual crash. Both front cam and back cam videos record well and are shown in the app.

App won’t let me long in
The app will not even let me create a account. Whenever I try and type in the password, it tells me it’s too long, when it’s not, or gives me some literal Chinese writing, and I cannot understand it.
Not good!
Not good!! After 2 months of working great, now acting up like crazy!! Won’t record or delete files anymore!! I guess your money is only good for 2 months service!!What a scam!!
No way to save?
Near as I can tell, there is no way to save the recordings from the camera – the app has very little assistance.
It works
I got a dashcam as a Christmas gift and for a minute it’s a little hard to navigate but overtime when I found what I needed it worked and the connection is great and it stays on 24 hrs nice set up everything handed and all good.
App Works, Just Slow
App works and camera connects. It’s just saw to review videos without having to connect the SD card to a computer. I had to review if an incident happened but couldn’t due to the slowness of the connection or even trying to download it to my phone. Had to wait till I got home an hour later to find out what happened.

Update: This company has been fabulous since I wrote a critical review. Not only did they contact me proactively- they got me a new product & worked w me on the technical difficulties.
Advice:
* If wifi won’t connect, try to add new device and the existing one will connect *
* If it keeps turning on & off driving you nuts - it’s bc you have parking mode on and the device thinks there’s been contact w vechicle * disable it
* WiFi design they have is great bc you don’t have to disable Bluetooth audio *

Doesn’t connect to camera anymore
It doesn’t connect anymore. Now I have to trash my 2 camera and buy another brand. Stay away from Kingslim brand products.

Anyone who thought it was a good idea for kingslim to use its own solo 1 on 1 broadcast wifi network which no other device really for every interaction with any company’s smart home or connected devices…
But wait. The same company who you are trusting with technology thought this was the best approach but then decided to never get serious about even upgrading or update the app
It still has a 16 bit looking interface & they thought this was better than BLUETOOTH?! Or just disabling phone connection all together?

This app made me regret the purchase.
Got into a minor accident and I can't play any videos on the app even after downloading them. I'ts just a black screen and won't load. Kingslim D6 Camera btw.
Won’t stay connected
Nice looking can but that’s about all doesn’t stay connected . So if I got hit theirs no recording of anything and the app is useless. Very disappointing for the money I spent on this. I’ll give it NO STarS
Weak connection every time
When you connect good luck playing videos back. It lags so bad you can’t even make it through a one min video. Is there another app to connect to the dashcam?
