App broken

No longer allows me to change the free hour time. The area that allows this or completely blank.

Needs more optimising!!!

After an update to “squash bugs” it’s added more!
Cannot see or change your Hour of Power, its poorly displaying pages as tabs are now cut off and pages will not scroll up to display info.
It STILL CANNOT display simple info like average daily usage or estimate a bill based on past usage.

In all honesty…….DELETE the app. Use a browser and add a bookmark to your home screen!

To the developer of the “app”…TEST your updates before you release them

So the app does everything you need it to do.

It shows your current bill / power usage etc.

You can make changes to your account whether that be the Hour of power, billing period or receive notifications when balances drop below a level.

It contains info on how “green” the power is and carbon insights which is not very helpful.

Also shows info if you have broadband or mobile with them BUT it would be nice if you could remove these tabs (if they are not applicable) especially on the iPhone app as screen size is limited and to have annoying tabs in the way does not help.

One thing the app does not show (for power) is an estimated bill based on current usage. Other companies offer this and it is helpful.

However the iPad and iPhone apps don’t seem to be optimized to fit the screen properly.

The iPad changes to a Landscape orientation.

If I go into the Insights section and choose Download Power Usage, the screen does not fit the screen and certain buttons are lost at the bottom, If you scroll up the screen will bounce back making any buttons (that might be required) to disappear again. It will not stay in place. This is more promidant if you have past history in the usage records

This also happen on the When to Pay section.

Changed my preferred date but the Update button is hidden. There’s no way to scroll up to revel it !!

The same with the iPhone app. This retains a Portrait view but again things are not centred in the screen and buttons go missing.

And some of the text around the graphs are so small that you will need to use the magnifier tool.

I would like to know why your power useage graph is not current to the hour /day. It appears to be 2 days behind. That is too long and difficult to estimate.

Potential but falls short

It’s handy having reminders for payment or hour of power - but frustratingly I cannot pay through the app as it never loads it just continues to load and load. I need to delete the app and then pay through the website. Shouldn’t be hard to fix this and then it would be a solid app

I nearly each time have to switch my phone off and restart to get app to work, really annoying

Scammers

Scammers just ripping people off. By saying their electricity is cheap unfortunately not.

Barely lets me login, looks and performs as badly as the website does on my phone, no point in having the app.

Payment setup is broken

You cannot choose which week to make payments with fortnightly or monthly. The manual payment never works. When trying to get support you have to wait for hours doing nothing but staying at the screen while there deal with 60+ in queue. Sending emails doesn't work when they choose to ignore what say.
I have tried since joining to set up a payment plan and they kept changing it to the wrong day which caused my bill not to get paid. They asked me to do manual payments but never gave me any information on how to make those payments. I tried using the make a payment in app but all I get is a blank page even after reinstalling app multiple times.

Really hard to pay when there is NO options to make any payments!

Terrible

Do not engage these people. You will ruin your day trying to recover your phone service because they don’t know what they are doing, will not answer emails or messages and refuse to answer a phone call because they won’t disclose theirs. I strongly advise against considering them.

Only Show Services Used

I think it would be clearer if you only showed the tabs for the services I am using, rather than all of them. You could add this as an option under settings, perhaps?

Hour of power reminder constantly a pain. If you change the hour next reminder stays the same then you get the old time reminder as well, bring back the old app.

Great but not great.

Good to be able to have 1 hour of free power but you don’t get a reminder when the free power has started. Support team are great to deal with and they tell you to delete the app every time there is a glitch and then re install the app again.

So far a very bad experience

I just made the switch to a kiwi mobile plan. My phone numbers are still messed up and not working. I have emailed three times and reached out via the useless chat option once. No one has responded. It has been days now. This is obviously extremely inconvenient and unprofessional.
