Garbage. Makes it insanely hard to find and print a photo
It's just soo very very bad. I want to print one old photo and you're showing me every album to the beginning of time.. I'm trying all kinds of hacks to work with this steaming pile of an interface and it's taking hours.
Doesn’t Work
The app closes every time I try to print a photo. Stating that the app closed unexpectedly and to click reopen to try again…just to close again the next time I try to print. More than frustrating.
Cool But…
The pics come out quality. I love the stickers. Used them for boards at work, on laptops, and my phone. Love that it doesn’t use ink. The paper prob costs the same as having to but I still like the fact you don’t need cartridges besides the paper. The only thing that’s really bad about it it sizing the pics for the precut stickers. It’s crazy to get them fitted right can’t stretch or expand them so it’s a lot of back and forth from you phone and resaving to get the sizing without it cutting your pic off wrong or leaving a space on the edges. It’s also a glitchy app where you have to close it out to have an option for pulling new pics off your phone to the app, and printing once you’re ready. The print button isn’t there and leaves you closing and opening the app again. It’s a lot of back and forth and open and close to get what you need done. Once you finally do prints are great. It’s be 5 star 100% if it wasn’t for the way the app functions.

I own a Kodak step printer , it’s super easy to use , I love how the app lets you put stickers , filters and cute frames .

Until this last week - can’t print any photos, everything is synched but it takes forever to allow me to print, if it ever gets that far. PLEASE FIX!

Not even working at all every time i put the paper in the printer it just says that i need to add more paper or theres a paper jam. I’ve restarted it multiple times and I’ve barely used it and it just KEEPS jamming. I even fix the papers position so it can print furthermore but it just stops halfway and the app keeps hitting me with the same thing again and again. Literally only the second time I’ve ever used this and it’s still broken. 👎

Horribly slow and glitchy
The app would be great, except that it takes about 5 minutes to print each picture because of all the “thinking” time of the program every time you press a button during the process. Also you can’t leave the app to look at something else during this time or you increase the (already likely) chance of it freezing and having to start over.

Company doesn’t support their app(product)
Contacted for issue with the app, specifically the graduation frames that have 2025 instead of 2026, I was told to just use it or update my app. My app is the current version. Honestly, this is my first ever review and I’m truly disappointed with brand like Kodak. SMH
Love it but hate it
I’m 12 and I love my printer cause it prints so many nice pictures of me and my puppies but today (May 20th 2026) at 8:00 ish I tried to print a pic of me and my bffs but it wouldn’t print!!!!! Only the blue paper came out. Nothing was damaged or out of place? So idk what the problem was.
Junk software
When it works it’s great but even with the printer paired to my iPhone the Kodak app cannot find the printer. When it does finally find it there is ALWAYS a new firmware push that is mandatory. It is always low battery no matter how long I charge it so it has to be plugged in to print. Really puts a damper on the portability.
