Dark Fish Visuals
I remember first playing this games original version when I was a little child, maybe 10 or 11 years old at the time. One of the things I remember the most was the dark fish and its attacking style. I’m not sure if updates are still available for this version or if anything at all will change, but it I am only going to be honest as I have a great love for this game and am incredibly thankful that it was reworked after years of trying to find it. I prefer the dark fish being in the same art style as the small koi, it gives a more ominous feeling than the current model that is in the remake. I remember being so scared as a child- not being able to see its dark body in the water and only its glowing red eyes as I tried to move out of its view or outrun it. The current model, while nice, does not offer similar feelings, it feels more out of place than anything. I can recognize it as a “obstacle” but I think that it matching the art style would make it much more immersive and visually appealing. This is not to say I dislike the remake at all, I love it very much, and thank you for the opportunity to play it once again after so many years of searching online trying to find it.
