HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED

This app is NOT USER-FRIENDLY at all. Customer support failed to resolve the issue and completely unhelpful. I raised the same issue with customer support multiple times, yet there was no progress and no real help.

I eventually recovered my account number on my own, without any assistance from the customer support. After that, when I tried to reset my password, I encountered another issue—I still couldn’t log in because the app says my old device is still registered.

What’s worse is that this exact problem was already reported several times and customer support even called me about it, but nothing was resolved.

Overall, the experience has been extremely frustrating and time-consuming.

EXTREMELY NOT RECOMMENDED.

Re-KYC problem

You are required to re-KYC via app and inform you that review would take 48 hours (what da 2 days). And then when you check the app, it ask you again to re-KYC. Then when I called the customer service she told me that the 1st ine was rejected and I need to re-KYC again. Seriously!!!! No text or notification that the 1st review was rejected. I have to wait 2 days just to know that.
So much hassle. The re-KYC is a hard stop for you to do any transactions. What if you have an emergency and you need a money, how can we get our money.

Unnecessarily hassle

You guys are making things unnecessarily hassle. First, you are not accepting digital National ID, which should be acceptable according to our “great government”, so I had to get other ID for the verification. It was a success tho—until you guys locked my account down after some time for unknown reasons. Called in to your hotline and the representative misinformed me that EWRB branched operate from Mondays thru Saturdays. Guess what? I left home early for nothing ‘cause the branch near us says they operate from Tuesdays thru Saturdays. ISTG I’m closing my account once I got my funds back.

Poor Experience with Online Banking App

I’m very disappointed with the performance of this online banking app. The app often fails to work properly — especially during fund transfers. The OTP (one-time password) doesn’t arrive on time, and even after multiple attempts, the transaction still fails. This makes it completely unreliable for cashless transactions.
In today’s digital age, users expect smooth and secure banking experiences, but this app causes unnecessary delays and frustration. It urgently needs improvement in stability, speed, and OTP delivery for a better user experience.

Can’t re-KYC via app and customer support is useless

You really have to give it to EastWest for the most useless customer support and technical team. They will require you to re-KYC via app but you can’t click “Continue” to move to the next step. You can’t access your account if you don’t do re-KYC and customer support will just say they referred you to the appropriate department and then no one gets back to you unless you follow up daily. Don’t bank with Komo!!!
