1. Fix the bug

User reviews

App fails since iOS 15

They say they respond to all emails. I’ve emailed them 6 times. I’ve gotten no response. Since the release of iOS 15 this app crashes immediately like a drunken driver all you see is the flash screen. Even deleted the app reinstalled. Still crashes like a drunk. Still no reply no app update seems like they don’t care if their items sell.

Avoid

No app updates in a year, and last update is “fix the bug”? I like their product but I can’t stand how the update available message never goes away in the HomeKit app. There is seemingly no way to update the device in the koogeek app.

Keeps logging me out

Other than having to power cycle the plug about once every other month, my only other complaint is that the Koogeek app keeps requiring to log back in on a periodic basis. I thought maybe it had to do something with new versions of the app but the last app update is reported as 1y ago. It would be nice they would fix that.

Do NOT buy their products

It has been more than 3 years without a firmware update for HomeKit. The product fails several times. Do not expect a fix or improvement. Buy another brand, trash what you have from them.

As if Koogeek abandoned Apple HomeKit

Nothing but motivations to update Koogeek devices and no way to update. App doesn’t work on any of our io devices. Spent two months waiting for responses from support.

Word to the wise - stop purchasing Koogeek devices when they are not around to maintain or support.
