After hiring a taxi driver who refused to give us a ride because we were Americans I politely left the area without any argument, and five minutes later I received a charge… the taxi driver still charged us for the ride

いいよーこれ！1年半前からかなり便利に使ってたけど、今回一度近くでマッチングされてすぐ来るってなったのに遅いなーと思って待ってたら数分後にキャンセルになって、え？と思ってたら目の前を該当ナンバーのタクシーが通り過ぎていって、手数料ゼロ円って表示されたからまぁいいかと思ってまた別のタクシー呼んで乗ったんだけどキャンセルのやつ後で235円請求された！向こうが来なかったのに！ムカつく！年数が経って加盟運転手が増えすぎてあんまりわからずやってる人も増えたのかもね。Uberのように運転手を評価するシステムがあればいいのに〜( ´･ω･`)Uberはどこでも使えるからこれからこのアプリを入れる人は少ないかもしれないけどなんとなくUberよりこっちの方が運転手さんがいい人が多い！まずUberの運転手は降りずにトランクだけ開けるので自分でキャリーをトランクに入れないといけなかったけどk.rideの運転手さんは全員もれなく降りてキャリーをトランクに入れてくれて降りる時も出してくれる。日本語がわからないからずっと黙ってるけど最後ありがとうって言ったらありがとうござじゃいましたって満面の笑みで言ってくれてかわいく手まで振ってくれてえええーめっちゃいい人だったんじゃん！ってなることがよくある。なので私は韓国ではk.rideを使う！

Abusive Ride
We booked ride from hotel to DMZ (Imjingak Tourist parking lot) which is probably the most well known place in South Korea but this app told the driver to go to a remote small village some 5kms away. Driver was then abusive and threatening shouting in Korean and refusing to read Korean instructions. He threw our bags out then we were able to force him to go to the right destination which he pretended not to know and again literally threw bags on the ground - he drove off at high speed stealing one bag !!

Great ride!
It was a bit of hassle downloading the App and getting authentication, but once that was done, it worked like a magic! The taxi came within a minute, and provided a very smooth ride to my place.
The total fare was 16000 won which was less than what I was quoted, 21000 won. Do I pay the actual or the quoted amount?

So helpful for tourists
I’ve found this has helped my independent travel so much in Korea. The app allows you to put in your pick up and destination in your home language, or pins on a map. An estimated price for your journey is given and all have been fairly accurate for the 20+ times I’ve used them. An initial payment is taken to check your payment method, then this is refunded. Full payment is taken automatically once the ride is finished. Very reliable and quick to pick up once you’ve asked for a ride.

もっと早くここのコメントを見てから判断すれば良かった。配車して乗車してないのに乗せたことになり不正請求されそのことについて問い合わせしたら数日後返金されますとの返事。その後、予約しても「サービスを通常通り〜…」の赤枠メッセージで予約できず。このアプリの信用が出来無くなってアカウント削除しようとしたら上記の赤枠メッセージ…。活動のとこもずっとローディング中で見れない。カード情報も消せない。

App doesn’t work, super slow, makes you type in address’ over and over, glitchy, pickup / current location almost always wrong etc. just use Uber

More expensive than domestic kakao T and other rideshare apps. Not recommended
