AI?! Why?!

Why does anyone need a Gemini AI feature while shopping for groceries?

The already glitchy app that freezes randomly is now even more unstable.

Fuel

I wonder why we can’t see fuel prices on app like many other apps that offer fuel

Please return the “shop list” function to its former glory.

This app updated and now the shop list function is about as clunky as an old VCR. The big pictures are not needed, and clearing each item confuses the aisle - and it always says “other” after an item is cleared. The page has to be refreshed every time an item is checked to see the next item in the acsending or descending order. Very poor update.

App performance is substandard

This app performs so poorly. When typing items I sit and wait on the app to catch up with what I’ve typed. On several occasions the app drops items - it indicates the item is in my cart, then when I go to the next item the app drops the prior item. I like shopping at Kroger’s but HATE using this app! I’ve called and report these issues, but no one listens.

So sick of updates just as I’m about to get figured out . Your app is one of the worst . About to stop shopping Kroger because I feel you discriminate against older folks because it’s hard for us to navigate all the tech changes!it wants me to rate app before I send my review . I have to put at least one star in order to send . Please let it be known it does not deserve even one star

Pharmacy doesn’t work on app

It repeatedly signs you out and then if you ever do get past the login screen it tells you that there are errors with your account. Won’t let you refill medication

Search history

Very frustrated that the search function is gone from purchase history. I build most of my orders from that.

Awful

Surveys for recent purchases are gone all the sudden, you can’t add items from your list to your cart, not at all accurate for showing what’s in stock and what isn’t, digital coupons don’t work half the time, flash sale prices aren’t applied and I’m charged full price, etc. Stop with all the updates. You’re making the app worse each time!

Convoluted receipt survey

Difficult to find survey or anything else.
Why make this so dense and full of bloat? Why not have the survey at the receipt, in settings?
You have so much available that you can’t find anything.

New update has issues

Had to update the app and now it’s overheating my phone after only being on it for 5 mins. Was never an issue before. The list feature is also broken now and puts all items in this “Other” category and won’t break it out by aisle even though it’s listed. That feature makes the grocery trip so much easier when it’s working.

Please optimize the new update so it’s not overheating the phone and fix the list sorting.

Remove

Coupons redeemed through the app should be removed from the list, not just greyed out. Frustrating to have to scroll through the list to find the coupon you want

Was good, but quickly becoming unusable

Recent updates to Kroger’s app have made the already challenging shopping list feature virtually unusable.

The order of the items on the shopping list should be sortable by aisle in the store. Past versions did that, but had the habit of splitting produce items in the list with some showing at the top of the list and some at the bottom.

The most recent update added product pictures to the list, which I suppose could be useful to some but made the list much longer than it needs to be for others. (This feature should be selectable).

The update did not fix the problem of the produce items split with some at the top and some at the bottom.

What it did do is make it so the default listing of items is not by aisle, but by department, which wouldn’t be a deal breaker except most items show “other” as the department, so there not logical sorting to the list at all now.

The user does have the option to select sort by aisle, but when an item is checked off while shopping, the list goes back to the department listing immediately even though it shows still sorted by aisle at the top of the page.

The result is that while shopping the user has to check off an item, back out of the shopping list and click back in to re-sort the list. If you pick up multiple items in one area, the result is to either check off one item and search up and down the list for the others so you only have to back out and go back in once or go back out and go back in every time.

If you have a long list, it’s a nightmare.

Please fix the shopping list!!

Still some glitches

While I am grateful for the bug fixes since the last update, there are still some glitches. The most pressing one is that when I check off items on my list while I shop, the list reorganizes and nothing is in the right spot. The only solution I have found is to not check things off while I shop.

Simplifying is the way to go

If this app was simplified it would be better. It’s so difficult to find the list, your current fuel points, and it’s just pure chaos under the savings tab. Gives me a headache and then I decide it’s not worth it and switch to a different grocery store.

Useless

This app has become a useless POS. At some point recently, they changed it so that you cannot add an item from your list to your cart. I always work off my list, so this doesn’t work for me at all. Please fix this!!!

Frustrating app

Kroger’s app is one of the most frustrating! Key words only bring up the right item about half the time, it will show items as in-stock and then only when the order is submitted will they sometimes notify you and ask about a substitution. It used to work better, so I don’t know what they’ve done, but it needs improvements!

The worst thing that’s changed in just the last three weeks for the store we’ve shopped at for six years is now the “hold” for submitting a pick-up order is the full price of the order! So you need to have double the amount available for the two or three days it takes for the funds to release. That’s ridiculous and not right! It used to be that the payment was only pending, then your account was charged when the order was picked up. We’ll be shopping at a different location now where they still do the payment the right way.

Can’t login on the app

I’ve been having issues with the app spratically not allowing me to login. There was an update available so I updated thinking that would solve the issue but no. I can login from the internet just fine. Very frustrating especially when I’m in the store and I’m trying to look something up!

The list function needs to take the coupons off too

I find the Kroger app frustrating because when I try to make a grocery list, the list function never takes the sales off, and it makes it hard to budget

Whyyyy

Please bring back the search function for purchase history! Ridiculous to take that away when the normal search function hardly ever shows the items I’ve purchased before, so it makes creating a shopping list annoying now compared to how it used to be. Change the regular item search function so that previously bought items are at the TOP and stop with the “featured” or “sponsored” items in my search! They take up space and don’t even make sense most of the time.

Frustrating and buggy

This app never works, it crashes, forces me to restart my phone and loses my login information. I would ignore it but you need to use it to clip coupons.
