I like Kroger but this app doesn’t work not even a little
Latest Update Hides Deals
With the latest update, it is now more difficult to quickly browse for deals. Instead of simply displaying the deal, you now have to click into the deal, which takes you to a new page, to even see what the deal is. It used to display the deal, let you select it from the browsing page, and add the item without needing to navigate away. Horrible user experience.

Fuel Points & Boost not visible or usable
Not sure what is going on with the app, but app fuel points in Kroger pay & alt ID have been grayed out and unusable for over a week. I had over 1000 fuel points rendered unusable during the last week of August, now gone. Boost membership is gone too, no help from app or customer support. I see & feel so palpably I’m being cheated by Kroger. Between the terrible app updates &the surge/discriminatory digital shelf pricing it’s clear,

Can’t access app says it has technical difficulties
What is wrong with this app it’s ridiculous I’ve deleted and reinstalled still doesn’t let me sign in
Terrible customer support
Big online orders are never the most enjoyable, especially when you have a toddler running around and interrupting but then that is supposed to be the point. What is not the point is the app to error out, maxing out a card in the process due to 5 consecutive pending charges. Cut to an hour off support hand offs and holds only to be told online orders are down. No resolution or offer to make up for the extreme hassle. Even worse the nice coupons that are no longer valid. Ten out of ten do not recommend. Outages and technical issues happen. How you handle the situation is everything.

Latest Update Is Trash
Why was the option to clip coupons for items as you scroll through removed? Now it has some worthless bubble that you have to tap on to view. I don’t have all day to tap all over the app while placing an order. I have a limited amount of time to ship so I can get back to trying to earn money to pay your ever increasing prices on items that are shrinking. Change it back. Otherwise, I’ll have to find another price gouger from which to shop.

Garbage
Absolutely trash app. Never opens, never works. Just acts like it’s loading constantly. I’ve deleted app, deleted cache, everything suggested for trouble shooting and it still never works. Almost like Kroger doesn’t want shoppers to access digital coupons or utilize their pickup services. I rarely shop their store for this reason. Seeing all the digital coupon prices plastered on the store but can’t get access to them. Trash.

Password
I logged in to get my prescription sent to me. It doesn’t recognize my password which I viewed and saw that it was coo So I copied it and used Forgot my password sent to my email I got the code but could not get back to the place to enter it.
I am trying to get a prescription delivered with my groceries and am having no “luck” to gat back to the reset The app is extraordinarily bad!

Save to List? Nothing saves
Tried several times to create a list and populate it but nothing saves to the list I created. There’s no way to tell it to save an item to a particular list. Useless app, the search feature doesn’t even work that well.
Please stop changing the list feature
It was fine the way it was. I go to Kroger once a week and rely on the list making feature of the app. I use it while I shop to check off my list. I leave common items checked off and then in check them when we need them again. Lately the list feature is a complete mess. I have the app up to date. Have tried deleting and making a whole new list. Have tried logging out and back in. Everything I can think of. Certain items just will not check off the list. I can mark the box but the pop right back up. Drives me insane while trying to shop. The workaround was logging in to Kroger.com via browser and accessing my list there, where it behaved normally. I figured it was an app glitch and would go back to normal in a day or two but it hasn’t. Fix it please!

App wrong on what store carries
App says store has but store does not

Looks like I already wrote “Why must we always update apps to be less intuitive and user-friendly?” but it got even worse since I last reviewed! Their search function is totally broken now, and the thing I will have specifically searched for will be 3-12 items down the list. For an example, I typed “glutino cookies” and didn’t even find them until I typed in gluten free cookie. If I type “gluten free cookie” I get all cookies, which, shockingly, I can’t eat. If I type in something, I’d like it to at least be at the top of the search. I only shop at Kroger any more for specific items, but I’m about ready to just go without if it’s this much of a pain to try to order it.

Terrible app
Horrible app cluttered with nonsense. Difficult to search for anything. Having to scan tags for certain deals, coupons not working, login issues…..the list goes on and on. Trying to use the app and the coupons they mail you and dealing with incorrect prices at check-out makes you not want to shop there. They are everywhere yet their prices are too high and they don’t listen to customers requests for products. I’m glad Meijer, Walmart and Publix are available. I’m eventually going to stop shopping at Kroger.

cant Connect
I cannot Connect to the pharmacy at all.
Took my money but order didnt go through
Placed a large order and the app took my money. My bank was charged, but then it told me my session timed out on the Kroger app and wanted me to go pick another pick up time followed by the payment screen once again. A refund was issued but now I have to wait for that to clear and I don't have money for groceries now.

A god awful app
This is a trash app and has significant flaws in tracking for pick up orders and it glitches all the time. I don’t shop at Kroger because of this app and the fact I can’t clip coupons on the app because it is so glitchy
Awful. Also impossible to use Chase cards.
I am continually impressed at how much worse this app can get. The UI is confusing and what gets displayed on the screen doesn’t make sense. If I’m in “Pickup” mode, why am I still seeing items that are “Delivery only”? Further, if I have the “Ways to shop -> Pickup” filter on, why am I still seeing items that are “Delivery only”? I cannot make it clearer that I only want to see items relevant to my shopping method, and yet, the app ignores me.
More importantly: I have been trying to use my Chase cards with online ordering for years. They will not work. There is always some “issue with Card Issuer”, or, as of today, my 3-digit CVV was deemed “too short”. Unfortunately, that is not something I can change. My CVV is 3 digits on my Chase and dozens of other credit cards, so payment method input is almost certainly broken for these as well.
I want to like this app. I want to use it regularly. However, these and other issues make using it a painful experience and push me to other retailers. Please take this feedback seriously, because these issues are decimating the user experience.

Delivery
The problem with this app isn’t even the app itself it’s the drivers who fail EVERYTIME to get the right quantity of items if you ask for 5 bunches of banana they’ll ONLY bring you 5 bananas not the 5 bunches and won’t even notify you. The app is great the delivery drives just cant read I wish you could rate the delivery drivers instead of the app and I’m not referring to the Kroger delivery drivers but the sub companies that deliver for them.
