Data stealing
No easy opt out buttons for cookies, have to put in all your personal data to ask the app not to track you. Cause that makes sense. And once you try to opt out the app no longer functions.
Randomly stops
I’m listening to a show and my phone screen is not active and all of a sudden the show stops playing. Not good, so many other apps I can listen to without keeping the screen on (x96 for example). Then if I activate my screen again I can’t get the app to play. I have to kill the app and start over and very inconvenient. This app needs a lot of updates or maybe a redesign before it is a usable app.

Terrible
I can’t even get the radio to play.
Unreliable
Big fan of the zone but the quality of this app is making it hard to keep listening. Random ads will cut in during segments and then your still subject to the normal ads from the live feed. Feels like I’m missing half of the shows. The app also drains the battery of whatever device I’m using.
Terrible app that streams commercials not contact
This app is highly unusable unless you’re using it like it’s a television. Using it outdoors, or trying to listen to actual personalities on the radio means you have to listen to minimum 30 minutes of ads many of which require the screen on for a video ad. This app is essentially useless if you want real sports content.

Why log in?
Let me just listen. I know you will give the song and dance we want customize your experience… no you want to sell my data. Your getting paid by the commercials I have to listen too. The old zone app was light years ahead of this. KALL 700 doesn’t make you log in, I will listen ESPN on their app.
Let me choose my notifications
I honestly don’t mind the UI. But what chaps my hide is the inability to NOT receive notifications about my rival’s team. Add this feature and I’ll give it another look. Until then ✌️
Register, why?
Before KSL sports bought out 1280 the zone I could listen without a login. Now I’m forced to create a login. Dumb. This channel has gone takeover since the takeover. Not going to register to listen.

Random Commercial Interruptions
I miss the 1280ZONE app. Not as many fancy bells and whistles, but at least it was RELIABLE. This app constantly gets interrupted by out of sync commercial breaks. Hosts will be mid sentence and then all of a sudden you’re listening to sponsor ads. HATE THIS APP.

Truly this app update works so much better than the prior version. Clean UI, easy to navigate all the areas. Love having all the content in one area. Very well done.

Hate this app
Long time Zone listener. The old zone app didn’t have near as much stuff. Not nearly as well organized, but I could alway find the listen to live feed, and it worked. Love zone personality, but finding the live feed button can be a challenge. Getting live feed to work can be a challenge. And forget if you have pause the feed. Easier close app and restart that it is to unpause feed in app.
Isn’t KSL part the zone now. Why not use news app as the backbone sports app. Listen far less now to the zone because of their new app.

Terrible App
Hangs up every time I try to use it.
Really Bad!
I tried listening to the live stream of 97.5 and 1280, the feed is horrible. It sounds worse than the AM station in the southern end of Salt Lake Valley.
I tried watching the Real Salt Lake game, again the quality is subpar and the video times out.

Poor App design
This app is difficult to navigate and the pages will just disappear the next day. I have to delete and reinstall the app every time I want to use it.
Quick and easy to use
A well designed and easy to use app that allows me to quickly access the local sports content and podcasts that other apps lacking in. Very user friendly.
