New UI is terrible
I’ve used this app for years, very loyally. It always improved each time they updated the UI.
NOT THIS TIME! It’s truly horrible. Scrolling forever with massive images of cbs sports employee faces taking up my entire phone. Gone are easy-to-browse headlines. Now it’s just massive faces, images, video links (with ads) and eternal scrolling.
And so for the first time in I don’t know how many years, I’m looking to move on. Sad, really, because their box scores are the best.

New Layout Sucks!!!
The new layout on the iPad app, that came out in July 2026… sucks!! Absolutely hate it!
Not a die-hard
I am a fan of the CBS app and the notifications that I receive. Most of the time, I feel like I am learning something new. I could lose about 25% of the notifications and be even happier. A little less “content” and a little more quality would be great.
AMAZING
It’s great in every pro sports league except WNBA. There’s lots of weird things with the expansion franchises like you can’t see the Valkyries tweets or the Fire and Tempo’s stats. And i’m assuming this will end up happening for any pro league that expands, people like seeing stats and tweets and stuff so just fix that. I would also say you need to add more NCAA sports to the app as well because that might make people more interested in different sports. Plus the new update is incredible. Otherwise amazing app. It was my first sports app i’ve ever downloaded! Great work developers of CBS Sports!!!👏👏👏👏
