DO NOT USE

Unreliable as it does not update. Trusted it for the last month before I realized it hadn’t updated for...months?

Not accurate

I had to delete because it isn’t accurate. 1 $ to shekels on Kurrency is 3.8, whereas the correct amount for the time I was checking was 3.4... simply not accurate and therefore useless

Terrible update

This app used to be so simple to use and looked great. I think the update was developed in MS Paint. It's unfathomably bad

Disappointing update

This used to be straightforward. This new color scheme leaves to be desired. It used to be much easier to find the country currency and just convert.
Also it's now missing currencies. Can't find east carribean dollar.
Disappointing update for now.

Deleted - changed for the worse

No idea why this interface was changed - it's now unnecessarily complicated and switching between currencies does not work correctly. Used to use it all the time. Deleted and got an alternative.

Was much better pre-2.0

Kurrency used to be a nice, simple little app that easily allowed for converting world currencies back and forth. However, with the recent 2.0 update, the app has become overly complicated, as you now have to add the currencies of different countries to a list and then juggle them around to get different conversions. Also, the new color scheme is gaudy at times and hard to navigate at others. This definitely feels like an update where the developer felt like they had to justify a major version number advancement, but all that resulted is a worse experience for the end user.

Much better!

Yay, switching between currencies is back!

Still a bit glitchy but getting better.

Terrible

The new update was an attempt to 'fix' something that did not need fixing. The previous version was very user friendly and easy to use, the new layout is terrible and quite complicated to use.

Really bad update

This UI increases the amount of confirmation/clicks, hides information, and lost the "swap currency" functionality of the previous version. Almost completely useless ATM.

Used to be good

Used to be an excellent ap; clean UI, simple to use. Now I can't get a simple currency conversion to work. Why, WHY ?? Bring back the previous version !

Changed for the worse

New update makes it really hard to use and not user friendly at all. Will be deleting and getting a different currency app. What a shame

Used to be simple and good

Seriously this update is the worse. Even the search doesn't work well

Ruined

Why change? It's now terrible, unusable, awful.

Crashes

Crashes on open bused to work well

V2.0

This version is a big step backwards.

Used to be great before 2.0. What happened?!?

This used to be my go to app for currency conversion. I loved how simple it was and how you could swap the currencies with one touch of a button. That swap button seems to have disappeared in version 2.0, which is very disappointing. But that's not as disappointing as the fact that the app now randomly crashes, forcing you to manually close the app and reopen it. The only bright side about the switch is that the conversions are instant now instead of the 1-3 second delay they used to have. But app crashing and no swap kills this app. I'll update my review when they fix these issues. Otherwise I'm going to be using other stable conversion apps until then.

Horrible App

Illogical, not easy to use, takes way too long to find the currency you need. I have no idea how this got so much attention.

Kurrency

Works well, easy to use & isn’t bloated with cr@p, so it doesn’t take up much room on my already nearly full phone ! Nice app.

Good but not great

Was cool when it first came out, very aesthetically pleasing with iOS 7. But the developer has abandoned it, with no updates almost since launch in 2013. Looks pretty poor on the bigger iPhone 6 and 6+ and just has annoying quirks - rounding errors, currency list not in alpha order, etc. as a free app it's fine but there are better options.

Meh

The UI is attractive, but not very intuitive (the action that reveals a "delete button in other apps, swiping an entry in a list to the left, reveals the option to add a currency to favorites here). But there doesn't seem to be an actual favorites list, you can't change the color (the screenshots in the description seem to be lying), and it's just generally limited functionality. I don't understand why it's so popular.
