Battery sucker! ~20% of battery in the background
Features wise it is okay but consumes a lot of battery and sometimes its lock functionality doesn’t work. It keeps spinning!
I have enabled auto lock when I am away from home feature and it is running almost all day in the background which doesn’t make sense. Mostly this is what causing the battery drain!
Please fix.

Locked Door From Anywhere!
I love that I can lock my front door from anywhere with a quick click of a button. It gives me peace of mind in the case of an emergency or even just because I forgot to lock it!

Gets Worse by the Day
The app has always been a little glitchy, but 18 months in, both locks are frequently disconnecting from the app via Bluetooth with no explanation. This, in turn, results in incorrect lock/unlocked status on the app. Our house was unlocked for hours!
The app still struggles with the handoff from WiFi/Bluetooth to 5G, making it impossible to use in the “no-man’s land” between the end of the driveway and the end of the street.
The Halo keypads still work, and it’s convenient to share/add/update codes for guests, neighbors, and service providers via the app. But we no longer “trust it” when it comes to true security.

We moved to a rental & the previous tenants had this lock installed. My son was able to chatGPT how to reset & program for my whole family. It took a bit of tries, but eventually was able to completely reset to erase previous settings & customize for us. And now we can lock/unlock from the app if needed. I was also able to sync with our Alexa app/echo and sometimes use that if guests come and I’m not close to the door (we live in a 4-level townhome).

Need firmware update
Bought original lock and it lasted about a month the face plate stopped working. I called. They sent me a replacement sent me the wrong lock, but the replacement would not connect to Wi-Fi consistently. I called and they sent me the right lock and it is having the same issue constantly dropping from Wi-Fi. I keep calling. They keep telling me that it’s a problem with the Wi-Fi, which it is not the because the original lock was connected and stayed connected

The lock works great but I go through batteries like crazy.

Battery drains in less than 3 months.
Worse Locks
They were ok but within 9 months they started dropping lock codes, unable to program code, must be in front of the door to program a code (definitely not what I paid for) EVERY TIME WE CONTACTED SUPPORT THEY SAY FACTORY RESET! GUESS WHAT LOCKS WILL NOT PERFORM A RESET. Really keep looking for another brand!
