Poss 5 stars but doesn’t always load tracks
Nice but couldn’t use this on live gigs as backing is slow to load and sometimes the tracks refuse to load at all ( update: ok this was because no space on the iPad, not an app problem - added a star ). Would be nice if you could mix out the bass or guitar tracks. Sound quality is good though. Feels like it needs a bit more polish.

Really nice!
Having this on an app is great. I don’t need to search backing tracks on YouTube every time.
One day I’d also love a bebop style.

Must Have App!
This app is a must have for anyone who has used Christiaan’s Youtube backing tracks or watched his instructional videos. It has a ton of features and works as described, offering musicians hours of quality practice time to hone their phrases and craft their solos. It’s a great way to apply Christiaan’s methods (e.g. Creative Rerun, etc.) while working on the phrases in his videos and e-books, but it isn’t limited to that. The tracks work with any instrument, they are not overly busy or distracting, they sound great, they swing like crazy and the list of songs (and new features) grows by the day! I’ve been using it daily since I got it, and Christiaan himself does as well! Be warned: you may find yourself practicing more than you ever have before!

One free song would be nice
I can’t evaluate it without buying a subscription. Could you add one free song?

Great sounds
Incredible backing tracks for an ever-evolving collection of songs.
Must have music app!
Great app which gives you real backing tracks recorded by a master of this genre, alongside the chord charts. You can create your own play- or setlists, loop sections for practicing, intuitive to use, great UI. It also has a tuner and a metronome, so it‘s the „Swiss pocket knife“ or better Dutch multi-tool. All you need in 1 app!

Ultimate Backing Track and Practicing App
Extremely well thought out and useful app. Everything one would need for practicing and improving. High quality backing tracks and the flexibility to change keys and tempos are amazing. Although the app name of La Pompe Live may seem like it is only Gypsy Jazz oriented, there is a wide variety of different jazz songs available. Tuner works great and the metronome is top notch. Plus the ability to create and share charts. I will definitely be recommending this app to my other musician friends.
