Cannot create account
Have tried registering a new account and all it does is throw me back to the login screen. So I assumed it had sent me an email to confirm the address but nothing, nothing in spam. Cant really give any more stars as can’t even get into it 🤷♂️
Locked out
I have had this app since I purchased my car. I was able to log in and get help but I have not needed it until now. I cannot log in it does not recognize my email so I can’t reset my password. I cannot not create a new profile no where does it ask that. And it is like it is grayed out. How do I use this app.

Route planning is terrible
For a route planner this is terrible. Often doesn’t calculate the best route and unlike Google etc. doesn’t offer multiple routes. Editing a route is infuriating as you have to add multiple waypoints just to make an efficient route. You may as well just buy a paper map and do it the old school way as it would be quicker.

Remind you—this app is developed by HERE, which used to be part of Nokia… now you know why Nokia vanished in the dust of the past… yup, as where it belongs.
First, navigation starts off with walking to the car. Hey, it never finds where my car is. My car is right outside my office building but it wants me to walk 2 miles back home—where it was half a day ago.
Then, it doesn’t offer any route options to choose from. Some other reviewers say it does but can’t figure out how to choose one. I was never offered any. Isn’t that the basics of a navigation app? What a failure.
Third, it’s supposed to sync the navigation session to my car’s screen. Yes, it did once—but then never worked from then on. Cellular OK. Account OK. Sign-in OK. Subscription OK. Map update OK. Everything is OK. It just simply refuses to work.
What a huge pile of manure.
Not to mention… GUI is archaic like a coin operated laundromat washer; response is slow as an aging sloth. Just pathetic.

A Pointless App
Not only is this app really bad, what’s the point in it? I really struggle to see any value in the Land Rover InControl account when I can just plug in my phone and use CarPlay without having to pay a ridiculous subscription.
No way to connect this to my vehicle
I am in the app - no idea how to connect to vehicle? Does not ask for VIN or anything?

This app is horrible! Where is the uodate? It shows my vehicle in another town and will not allow me to update or change location of my vehicle.
This just does not work

Save memory on your phone and delete app
I have tried to use this app several times, I was expecting a google maps like experience if not better, after all its “Landrover” it is as many have said completely useless. I have kept revisiting App Store hoping for an update with loads of bug fixes, like most developers do or when they launch something this bad, withdraw it. LandRover should remove this as the experience is more damaging to the brand.

I have the same issues that most other people seem to have , location of the car .
It’s about 2miles away , took the car back to landrover , they can’t fix it either .

Useless. I previously had the app but deleted it as it always showed my car on a street in London that I once drove along (never even parked there). I thought I would give the app one more try and downloaded it again. Unfortunately my car still looks to be a couple of hundred miles away in London.

Don’t waste your life
Don’t waste your life down loading this app.
It can’t even recognize where your car is located, let alone set a location and plan a route there.
Land Rover need to remove this app to salvage some dignity for their reputation.
Would have not rated if possible, 1 star is over egging this atrocious app.

Useless most of the time.
When planning a journey it nearly always say it can’t creat a route because it can’t get to the car. Most of the time it says may car is somewhere else. I did contact Land Rover to report the problem and they advised me to log into my account on a laptop and try that.
Route download stopped working
I am completely frustrated. The route creation and download to my vehicle was a nice feature. About 1 year ago the app simply stopped downloading to my vehicle. The web version continues to work as expected. Here Technologies will only deal with Land Rover not customers. Land Rover has been working with Here Technologies but after 12 months still refuses to accept the fact that their app is broken. I have found other reviews stating exactly the same issue but Land Rover/Here continue to treat this issue as an isolated issue somehow specific to my phone. I couldn’t be more disappointed in the customer support by both Here Technologies and Land Rover. They offer a product that simply doesn’t work but really don’t seem to have an interest in resolving the issue.
Update, now after 24 months the app still will not download/communicate with my vehicle. Here.com and Land Rover continue to state they are working on a solution. The app still does not work, Land Rover really doesn’t seem to care.

Doesn’t work
It might be good if it worked. I guess I’ll never know. Been trying now for 2 months to register an account but the website just fails. Have tried emailing support but no response. Contact developer link on here is no longer valid.
