This is absolutely the way to go if you want to get started with a language. Not only will it provide you with the basics, but you develop a fantastic sense of how the language works and how you can leverage English to learn other languages more effectively. It’s a really good app but won’t load
I LOVE this app because the teacher is so thorough and teaches at such a good pace but the app doesn’t work on certain wifi!? I’m only able to use the app while at work on their wifi but never at home where I can be 100% zoned in. I’ve tried to delete it and reinstall it, open and closing the app, and nothing. It wouldn’t load at all. I even tried opening it on a different device(my iPad) and it just WOULDNT load. The first few days I had it installed it worked but at some point it just loaded for about an hour before I gave up:(

Thanks for sharing that app. I used Pimsleur to gain basics in Turkish, and it worked mostly as memorization, but I was missing logics glue of the language. Your explanation works just perfect!

Love that this content is FREE with no ads. Because of that I will happily make a donation!! The instructor is calm and easy to listen to, and provides very helpful information about WHY a word is pronounced or spelled a certain way. The lessons focusing on understanding the roots of the words and general rules of the language, versus just memorization. I love it and am excited to keep going.

Ich habe für mein Auslandssemester mit dieser App Spanisch gelernt und kann es nur empfehlen!! So eine angenehme Art des Lernens bei der es richtig Spaß macht dran zu bleiben. Ich habe den Ansatz geliebt, dass man die Strukturen der Sprache versucht zu verstehen, anstatt sie einfach nur auswendig zu lernen. Gerade als jemand, die bereits andere romanische Sprache beherrscht, war es so viel leichter Zugang zum Spanischen zu finden. Angesehene davon waren die Unterhaltungen und einzelne Lektionen so sympathisch gestaltet und find es einfach toll, dass es das Angebot kostenlos gibt!!!

Incredible totally new way of learning that makes you want to learn
Genuinely complete paradigm shift from every language learning method I’ve tried. So many apps out there that are the same old sentence and a picture or flash cards. Or listening and repeating sentences. I wasn’t convinced by a listening only app. I’ve tried learning Greek for 13 years and nothing sticks because I’m just trying to memorise. Instantly I’m interested to keep listening as it’s like I’m listening to a who dunnit about how language works so I keep wanting to find out the next bit. And it’s not a boring list of grammar tables. I’m visualising and creating links and connecting dots that means I constantly have aha moments. Whoever made this is a told hero.

Amazing resource
What a fantastic resource. I play a few tracks at a time and repeat them another day to make sure it’s all sunk in. Such a fantastic way to learn and the course is easy to follow even pointing out when there’s a difference between Latin American and Castilian.

I have found the lessons on this app to be great for learning Spanish. Interface is intuitive and easy to use, pacing of lessons is good and each builds upon the next in a logical manner.
I recommend pausing the lesson and trying to answer along with the student, definitely helps with understanding the material and identifying consistent mistakes that you make. I used this in conjunction with another language learning app, but found this one much better for understanding how to think through and improve learning the language, instead of just rote memorization.

Incredible. It changes everything when it comes to language learning and is the first time I have actually understood how the grammar works.

The app is great! Completely different approach but it’s very comprehensive and easy to follow. On top of that it encourages you to go beyond the course but not forceful.. but because you actually want to take the initiative. Grammar is easily explained without overcoming.
I wish there was a POLISH version too, maybe something for the future with a polish tutor as polish is becoming a popular destination for many!

It is amazing for learning Spanish. This course is for learning and remembering not memorizing. You get to understand and interact with the language as opposed to memorizing rules and words.

its so hard to find an app to actually help me learn Spanish all they want is my money. I had to use google to help find this app and im glad I did. im just starting out and im excited to my journey.
Helping so much with my Spanish
I'm on lesson 65 as I write this: I started learning Spanish about two months ago with Language Transfer and three one-hour conversation classes a week. That combo has taken me from knowing nothing to feeling comfortable holding basic conversations. If you’re serious about learning a language, I’d definitely recommend making it part of your routine.

Unlike other language apps which just teaches vocabulary this app actually teaches grammar and rules. It fully free with no ads.
Amazing
The italian course episodes I listened to teach how to form sentences in a practical way and explains grammar logic and has fun facts about why words are like that, much more useful for me than my childhood school classes or the green bird of prey in the room. Mihalis sounds friendly and happy and the teacher-student audio format feels very warm and human. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
