Horrendous πππππ
Do not ever buy a laser pecker device. They do not work. They do not connect. They do not engrave well. This app is genuinely the most frustrating thing I have ever had to deal with on the planet. Horrible if I could give it negative stars I would. DO NOT BUY A LAZER PECKER!!!!!!!!!β

I love the tools but hands down the worst laser software ever had. After spending thousands of dollars on the tools. Why canβt they make a decent app. X tool software is way better
Sometimes Irritating
Iβm no graphics expert, but using this app is OK. It does the simple things I need. However there are two changes I have recently noticed, and they are aggravating.
First, the app recently forced me to repeat a safety instruction course online, even though I have been using it with my LP2 for nearly a year. I did a safety tutorial when I first got the unit. I can understand requiring a repeat if a user has not used the app for a long time, but I use it several times a month.
Second, I can no longer compose a job without powering up my unit. The app pretends it will still allow a workup, bit when I add a picture, it will not actually appear in the workspace, intil the LP2 is on and paired. This was not a problem for the first six months or so. It baffles me why the app designers/aggravators would do this.

Can no longer create after last update
Can no longer access local photo gallery from within the laser pecker app.
How is it so good and so bad
Amazing how the design part of this app is so good while the sign on and device connection is UNUSABLE for the LP1, despite no information about this and THE APP ITSELF claims you can add the device. And as if thatβs not annoying enough, creating an account on this app makes you UNABLE TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT ON THE CORRECT APP?? You could not have made this more frustrating if you tried.

App Has Recently Become Evil
Just now I tried to open LP DS and it required me to choose between sharing excessive info and not sharing it. When I pick not sharing, the app crashes. LaserPecker, please stop this stupidity. If I have to share stuff you donβt need, you can just lock your doors and throw away the keys.
Only for the most basic of editing
The only way to use this software is to edit in another program, take a screenshot of the b/w image, and upload it. The system works but there are a lot of bugs and it seems like support has ended.

Good features for beginner and intermediate users
App is easy to use with LP machines. Offers a range of options depending on experience. Some bugs but continued updates are addressing these.

Absolutely pointless
This program doesnβt support DXF files or trace images. This program is pointless as a decent program for laser engraving. If you just want to put names on trinkets, itβs fine. Nothing more.

App crashes too often when trying to upload a file
Donβt buy a LaserPeckerβ¦. Nothing but headaches!!!!!
Day 1. Things OK, but software upgrades, weekend the power, and changed settingsβ¦.itβs like starting all over with poor performance. I would never buy again. If I was rich, Iβd smash this junk with a hammerβ¦..
WTH?
I figured out how to get this to work even with the crappy reviews, and the laser did a nice job. With the update the app immediately says the etching is done even when it does nothing. I didnβt do the update on my IPad Pro and didnβt have any issues with the laser working. Is there anyone who knows how to program writing this app???!!!

Software is less than adequate
The software limits the ability of the laser I do not recommend either. I have worked with this laser for over a year and a half, and it is less than adequate due to the software to work correctly

Great Laser, abysmal software
I have a LP2 and have just bought a LP5. How can they produce such a great laser engraver, but the software is virtually unusable? It is pathetic, that the Chinese cannot make a better software to use????????? This is definitely NOT to Western standards of software.
