Good idea but….

On our visit to Kruger, there was much of the time that we didn’t have cell service or very limited service. That makes it very hard to see other people’s sightings or report in. Didn’t find the app helpful.

Hate Apps that are “Scammy”

This app provides few real sightings then locks the user into watching obnoxious ads. The all actually takes control of you device until the ads finish. Great concept. Horrible discretion used in monetizing the app

Thanks for the feedback! I'm sorry that the ads make it feel scammy, we've tried to implement them in a non intrusive way, like in the feed or just before a video. But, you're saying that the ads take over and you can't use the app? In terms of the sightings, there are around 100-200 real sightings a day, we are always trying to grow the community, hopefully, it grows more. :) If you're open to it, can you email contact@latestsightings.com, and we can work on fixing things with the app? The App has been spoiled by literally hundreds of rubbish sightings for Bingo

There is little point in looking at this App any more as there are dozens of sightings of turtles or rollers or zebras or .... just so people can play Bingo. Why do this to a really good App that highlighted quality sightings of animals in one of the best parts of the world? Is it just to get "clicks" for advertising?

Adds so much excitement to the park

I love using this app. Not only in the park to see animals, but I use it weeks ahead to plan routes. It's magic.
Sometimes driving around the park can get boring, the bingo game is SO much fun.

Best sightings EVER

Wow!!!!!!! The app helped make this trip a trip of a lifetime. Visiting from London and always a dreamed of seeing the big 5. With the help of the app, I saw the big 5 within the first 24 hours. Insane. Thanks Latest Sightings for making this so memorable.

Good but missing some posts

Since downloading this APP I have enjoyed viewing the posts. One complaint though, some of the posts cannot be viewed. Gives details but cannot view the photo or video.

Helpful

Great app to see where users have spotted the best wildlife. More real time then the boards at the ranger centres.

Great concept and great idea BUT a complete waste! No one posts and just empty fields with endless forms and options . I was seething !!!

Needs signal to work

Cannot function off line, effectively useless in the large parks like KNP

Apparently every single username that was ever invented has already been taken, so impossible to set up an account.... useless!!!

Not enough parks

Only has like 4 parks listed - of no nuse for the rest.

App Doesn't Work

It used to work reasonably well, however no longer works. I deleted it and downloaded latest version, still won't work, when you open it, says it is downloading an update and fails every time!?

Application downloads fail

After installation it wants to download 3 updates which continuously fail
