Love the content… hate the app
This app is so glitchy and has been for a while. Initially I thought my phone was too old so I tried it again when I upgraded. Nope, it takes forever to load, then once you choose something to listen to, more often than not it won’t even play. I purchased a month to try it out and was so disappointed in rarely being able to access content. The app worked better when it was Our Turtle House… come on guys, you have great content- fix your tech so it is easily accessible!

Didn’t work
We were so excited for this app. We wanted all of the content. We were even going to share it with our kids. But it never worked right. We upgraded so we had access to everything. And nothing that is not on the free version worked. We gave it a little while hoping it was just a glitch. Emailed back and forth ( very delayed customer service) and were never really given any answers. We figured it was just an issue with my husbands account. So I opened one on my phone and upgraded as well. Nothing. Same issues. Emailed back and forth. No outcome. So basically we have been charged for 9 months between the two of us, for nothing. And at 17 -20 bucks each that’s a pretty good chunk of change. We now have both cancelled. We are disappointed and out quite a bit of money.

Canceled after my free trial despite loving the app.
I honestly LOVE this app, and all the inspiring content. However, there were so many glitches/issues that made it really frustrating to use. I had issues trying to play the content I saved in my “favorites” on the app, other times content wouldn’t load, I would click on a talk/podcast, and it would take me on some ‘clicking round-about’ and end back on the homepage again or to something completely different, and many times there were issues with the audio and sound. If the app worked smoothly I would have paid for the yearly subscription in a heartbeat. Please let me know if the glitches get fixed, I would love to subscribe!

Cannot get help
I’ve been paying for a family subscription for over a month, but cannot get access to the newer items. I’ve emailed support twice with no response. Really good content, just a lot of problems with the new app.
Trouble loading on iphone pro max
I’ve gone the the website follow instructions, delete and reinstall app and still does not work. App also doesn’t show on cellular list. I don’t know what else to do nor say, I’ve tried.

I love the app when it works. I went on today and it wouldn’t load. I tried resetting my password and never got an email with a verification like I was supposed to have gotten. I finally just deleted the app and canceled my subscription. This makes me sad but I paid for a year and can’t even use it😢

Has potential. Difficult to use
I saw a promotion on social media to send a message to receive an invitation for the app. I did receive an invitation, but there was no link I could actually click from my phone. I then went to the app store to search and download the app. I registered with name and email. The app opened to the home screen but was unresponsive. I closed the app to open it again as a type of refresh. This time the app wouldn't even open beyond the loading screen.
I deleted the app. I'm sure there is good content. I'm sure there is something I could have done more. However, when the process becomes as cumbersome as this I'm just going to move on.

Our Turtle House
I love the service. Our Turtle House is wonderful. This review is about the app. It’s so badly out of date and based on what feels like 2007 design. I wish they’d update it. It would make the app so much more accessible and useable.
Warning Scam App!!!
Paid for a membership to access Sunday School lesson plans. When I try to access the lesson for the week to opens up to lesson from 11 months ago. Waste of money, and does not provide advertised content.
Amazing Uplifting Awesomeness for Everyone!!!
I’ve been acquainted with John Bytheway for more than 30 yrs since he hosted an Especially for Youth two of my children attended! He has some equally amazing companions, and ALL make up this lively, full of love, filled with humor AND sensitivity ANDDDD the AWEEE of The Spirit, House, even Our TURTLEHOUSE, which teaches in abundance, through every word spoken, and testifies of Christ in all things!!!
Can’t recommend OUR TURTLEHOUSE highly enough! There’s something here for everyone you know!!!! Trust me!!!!

It’s great but…
There have been several times where I click on the come follow me helps and click to view and nothing will come up. It’s super frustrating. I think this app is amazing, but I don’t like that it’s not consistent.
Our turtle house
I love our turtle house. There be are so many people I’ve never heard of who have changed my life. I love that the people who put this together have people on the our turtle house who are so Christ like you can’t help but be inspired by them all! The content is all fantastic and very relevant. The only thing I’d change is the intro to the everyday items. They get old on day 3 and they are very very loud. Super loud with head phones. You have turn the volume clear down to start it wait for the intro then turn the volume clear back up to hear the people talking.

Family Inspiring app
Honestly, If you are looking for an app that has great gospel content for yourself and your children this is it. So many uplifting talks, podcasts, daily devotionals…..our family absolutely loves it. We listen to the daily devotional everyday during breakfast. We listen to the talks and firesides on Sunday evenings. Wonderful insights for weekly CFM on the Follow Him podcast. We listen to it every week. Great CFM outlines that help come up with lessons for our whole family. Meg Johnson, John Bytheway….and all the other contributors, too many to name them all are all so good. Thank you for this! We appreciate all the wonderful content that is available for our family. Great ways to talk about the personal meaning of the gospel as a family. We’ve had the subscription for a year now and it is definitely worth the money, we will renewing every year.

My family and I use this app every day. I love the family sharing and the option to create playlists. Lots of new content added each week and we love the turtle talks - those are worth every penny just on their own! We love this awesome app ❤️

I love using the Our Turtle House app EVERY, SINGLE DAY. I love that I have super-easy access to podcasts and talks from my favorite inspirational speakers (Hank Smith, John Bytheway, Meg Johnson) and I LOVE the huge variety of special guests they bring in! All of them are so powerful.
