ok when it works but too late when it doesn’t
it will just randomly stop notifying me for no given reason, i’ve tried resetting and it’s not helped. very upsetting for me and baby when i may be at the other end of the house and don’t know she’s woken up, or at night when i wake up to her screaming because ive not been notified of her initial wake up and she’s been waiting 🥺 i can also almost never view the motion captures which is very annoying. it’s a great concept but it’s just poorly executed ☹️ needs a lot of fixes in my opinion

Not so good records but doesn’t play.
Camera detections do not play back. There’s no way to view them app doesn’t let you see any recordings.
Glitchy. Photos and videos gone.
This app is so glitchy and along the way one of the updates has removed all of the memories that were saved to the app. Any new memories also automatically disappear so I’ve now taken to recording the monitor with my phone whenever I want to keep a memory, which is stupid.
Poor engineered pairing process
What idiot manager instructed developers to make the cheapest nastiest pairing process without any diagnostic? Learn the lesson - I will be advising Which! that this app is awful on modern router tech. A 2.4Ghz bodge to save a tiny bit of money? Discontinue all of your poorly tested products that use ancient 2.4Ghz bodges. Dire instructions that just don’t work reliably on different routers and networks.

We bought a leapfrog camera over all the super expensive fancy ones and love it. The app works really well. We bought a second one for our second child. We love this camera and app.
Horrible Connection
What good is this if 90% of the time the app fails to connect?
Does what it’s supposed to but fails to load motion detection.
The camera is great, love that it’s connected to my phone. My partner and I can both connect to it and get notifications and check the camera from anywhere which is great. No need to be within range. The issue I am having is with the motion detection memory. I can see that there have been motion detections and at what times, but when I try to watch the footage back it often fails to load. It started working well for a couple of weeks. But recently just had another update and now I am unable to load saved motion detection. Apart from this issue the camera is great. I hope this issue can be resolved.

So easy to change between WiFi networks and gives great image to watch baby.
Always disconnecting/offline
We are forever having to disconnect the camera and reconnect it and it takes about an hour ever time to do this due to how difficult the process is.
It is always disconnecting so I’m incapable of accessing the camera or any of the features for that matter.
The light goes off whenever it likes and just doesn’t come back on as well as the white noises provided are always cutting out when movement is detected.
I honestly thought that this monitor was a great addition and was planning on buying more so I’m able to use them in multiple rooms however after having all these issues I don’t think I’ll be getting anything of this sort from this company again.

Worst
I never leave app reviews but felt the need to mention how bad this one is. Constant freezing, disconnecting, capture photo/video buttons don’t do anything. The old app version is somehow way better
App pointless now notifications have stopped
App no longer sends notifications and for a camera without a parent unit it makes the camera useless. App also doesn’t update the events for one of the cameras so no previous motions are showing - all settings checked and are accurate, has worked for the last 9 months or so but has suddenly stopped working for events and notifications.

Notifications don’t work in app
I just had to get the Baby Care + after upgrading from a single to dual monitor. Had zero issues with the single, hence why bought the exact same model as a double.
However this app does NOT send notifications to my phone? All settings are turned on, yet I’ve never once received a notification. Baby will be crying & moving if I check, yet no notification.

The worst!
I can't record unless I press record. It never tells me there is motion detection just sound. But even then it doesn't record for me to view later I have to be watching the camera app

App stopped recording motion events
The app stopped recording all motion events. It shows no recent activity. I deleted the app and added the camera again hoping it would start recording motion events against but all it did was delete all my pictures and videos. I messaged product support and was told there was nothing that could be done about my lost pictures and videos and gave no support on why the motion recordings stopped recording. The main reason for purchase was to be able to view the motion recordings and save them. Everything is paired correctly; I have no issues viewing the camera on my app or parent unit.

Profile name keeps resetting after changing it
I have multiple cameras, and I need to rename the profiles to something meaningful so the push notifications make more sense in terms of knowing which camera is alerting. No luck. Every time I rename a camera profile it resets to the factory name once i exit the app and reopen it. SO FRUSTRATING. PLEASE FIX!!!! Been like this for many months!
EDIT: in response to developer comment — I have tried explicitly logging out of the secondary account and a trying to update. It does the same thing, the profile name still reverts when only the primary user is logged in. Please look into this bug further, I’ve been using the app for 1+ years and it’s extremely frustrating.
