Disappointing coach
Pitalifts coaching
I originally signed up for a 6-month plan and was told there would be a fee if I wanted to cancel early. When I later explained that I wanted to cancel for financial reasons — especially because paying $189 a month for little to no actual coaching felt unreasonable — I was told I would still have to pay the remaining balance of the contract anyway. At that point, I felt stuck and just stayed for the remaining months since I would have had to pay regardless.
Once the final three months were over, I was automatically enrolled into a month-to-month membership, despite already expressing that I wanted to cancel. When I brought it up again, they did everything except actually process the cancellation. Instead, I was encouraged to place the account on pause, which I did. Then, at the end of March, I once again clearly stated that I wanted to cancel. I was told there was a required 30-day notice or I’d be charged for another month. Conveniently, my cancellation was not “processed” until April 4th, which now leaves me responsible for yet another payment.
Overall, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. A legitimate coaching program should prioritize its clients instead of making cancellation intentionally difficult and continuing to charge people after they’ve repeatedly asked to leave. There are far better trainers and coaching programs out there that actually provide value and respect their clients.
Beware CA residents of Pitalifts
They insisted on manual offboarding forms and '30-day notice' from a specific date—direct violations of California’s Click-to-Cancel laws (BPC § 17602). They only stopped the unauthorized billing after I cited legal codes and proof of notice.
If you are a busy professional, be extremely careful. Document everything and know your state's consumer rights. I wouldn't recommend this service.
Preloaded foods is very limited and creating recipes is frustrating.
Trapped in bad agreements
SCAM
Coach Casey - Overcharge
Needs more food options
Dysfunctional
Bad customer service. Run from coach Hannah Bailey!
Beware
The meals were boring, usually repeated from previous plans and had little to no variety…so what am I paying for there?
Check ins felt very disconnected, workouts were good I will say that- but definitely not worth the price tag or the headache when you want to be done with the program…because they won’t listen and they will keep charging you anyway.
Not personalised, no feedback
The food log is terrible, I add foods that I regularly eat and unless it was recently imputed, it “forgets” the food. Also the macros only count fat, carbs, protein…no fiber, sodium, etc. so I use a completely different app for that.
Its ok
Unprofessional Company
Most concerning: I was charged nearly $900 without any prior notice, invoice, or explanation—more than a year after the original agreement timeline. I reached out immediately, but after multiple emails over several days, they told me it was due to “unforeseen circumstances” on their end then after rebutting, I have still received no response.
This kind of unprofessionalism and lack of accountability is incredibly disappointing for a company that claims to support coaches in running high-integrity businesses. I would caution other coaches not to join, to get everything in writing and be prepared to advocate for yourself.
