App designed in 2025 but is 10 years behind in UX
App built in a scrappy way and sold at a overpriced rate to PT. App is buggy and lags a lot and non responsive. Some of basic spices or commonly eaten item aren’t available in their food database.
No MFP and Garmin link
Logging food takes twice the time as the library is not as exhaustive as MFP. Can’t save favourites, if you use a recipe you can’t just slightly tweak as a one off. I’ve added items before and searching with the exact same spelling brings no results. Such an awful app to use

Buggy
Literally can no longer log-in. Round and round of password resetting then immediately “your email and password don’t match.
So slow and messages don’t load!!
I can’t even communicate with my coach because the messages don’t appear! Terrible app. It just takes me to an AI bot who doesn’t help either.
Disappointing coach
I did coaching through Lucy Moreno. Do not recommend. Her assistant only texts back until they get payment info from you. Lucy would take days sometimes a week to reply. If you’re wanting a community to share the journey with, forget it. She had a group that was completely inactive and then deleted it all together. Completely disappointing

Pitalifts coaching
I signed up for coaching with Pitalifts under Coach Jess, but the reality is you barely deal with Jess directly. Instead, you’re passed around to multiple different coaches, which already made the experience feel impersonal. On top of that, the workout plans they provided were extremely disappointing. The exercises rarely changed, even after I was told they would be adjusted based on my strength and progress. Most of the time, I would just open the app to let the workouts run while I did my own training because the plans felt repetitive and ineffective.
I originally signed up for a 6-month plan and was told there would be a fee if I wanted to cancel early. When I later explained that I wanted to cancel for financial reasons — especially because paying $189 a month for little to no actual coaching felt unreasonable — I was told I would still have to pay the remaining balance of the contract anyway. At that point, I felt stuck and just stayed for the remaining months since I would have had to pay regardless.
Once the final three months were over, I was automatically enrolled into a month-to-month membership, despite already expressing that I wanted to cancel. When I brought it up again, they did everything except actually process the cancellation. Instead, I was encouraged to place the account on pause, which I did. Then, at the end of March, I once again clearly stated that I wanted to cancel. I was told there was a required 30-day notice or I’d be charged for another month. Conveniently, my cancellation was not “processed” until April 4th, which now leaves me responsible for yet another payment.
Overall, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. A legitimate coaching program should prioritize its clients instead of making cancellation intentionally difficult and continuing to charge people after they’ve repeatedly asked to leave. There are far better trainers and coaching programs out there that actually provide value and respect their clients.

Beware CA residents of Pitalifts
I signed up for a 4-month term with Pitalifts (on the Lenus platform), but the experience was disappointing. My workout plans were not updated for months, yet they tried to force a 6th-month 'auto-renewal' despite my clear cancellation on March 3rd (31 days' notice)
They insisted on manual offboarding forms and '30-day notice' from a specific date—direct violations of California’s Click-to-Cancel laws (BPC § 17602). They only stopped the unauthorized billing after I cited legal codes and proof of notice.
If you are a busy professional, be extremely careful. Document everything and know your state's consumer rights. I wouldn't recommend this service.

Preloaded foods is very limited and creating recipes is frustrating.
Surprised and disappointed by how limited the preloaded food is in this app. You have to use another calorie tracker and manually enter foods in. Adding recipes doesn't make any sense either. I made rice and beans and the app doesn't figure out servings by weight. It treated 1 cup cooked rice and 1 can of beans as one serving. Cannot divide up recipes by weight. My coach can view my log so it's important clients are able to input accurate information

Trapped in bad agreements
Do not get this app. It’s designed to help trainers force you to keep paying for services you may not want anymore.
SCAM
Just the usual drill with these guys, coaches scamming people and getting away with it. I was lucky enough to work with Lucy Moreno, and boy, was it a dream come true... for about 5 seconds. Their so-called "weekly check-in" was just a fancy lie. It took her an eternity (almost two weeks) to start on my fitness plan after I'd already paid, and even then, it was more waiting around for her to get back to me with answers to my questions. Oh, and don't even get me started on the "review of techniques" she promised, what a joke. I'm still waiting. And guess what? I'm still getting charged for the second month for services not rendered. When I tried to get a refund for the mess they made, both Lucy and her worker ghosted me. Save yourself the trouble. Don't sign up, don't download the app. They won't lift a finger to help you.

Coach Casey - Overcharge
Did not have a good experience with her - despite being injured, no flexibility or refund. Would not recommend joining her program on the app.
Needs more food options
If this could be linked to MyFitnessPal it would be a game changer. A lot of the foods aren’t found so you have to do it manually. Also, if you could add your recent foods into your favourites it would be so handy! Good but needs improving
Dysfunctional
This app was nice when it worked. I was doing a 12 week workout program and experienced an issue accessing my workout often. I was in contact with customer service very frequently, unfortunately
Bad customer service. Run from coach Hannah Bailey!
I had a horrible experience working with coach Hannah Bailey, she provided good services at first then completely ghosted all of her clients and was still charging them despite no response to any messages or emails. But she had time to go delete all of her social media and then remove us all from the app. When reaching out to the Lenus customer service for support, they weren’t any help. They told me I had to dispute charges with my bank and when asking what would happen with the coach using their platform to steal from clients, they avoided the question then said they “reached out to someone who was looking into it”. The app itself is okay, wish they had more common foods available for logging and a lot of my recipes would glitch and show as something different.

Beware
Horrible customer service! Let’s start there. Only to be overcharged and have no help when I actually needed it.
The meals were boring, usually repeated from previous plans and had little to no variety…so what am I paying for there?
Check ins felt very disconnected, workouts were good I will say that- but definitely not worth the price tag or the headache when you want to be done with the program…because they won’t listen and they will keep charging you anyway.

Not personalised, no feedback
I think the workouts are fairly good and I’ve toned up, BUT this is something I could have done via YouTube. My coach only initiates conversation if I do an official check in, and even that is like a two second video saying “good job, what’s the plan for the week?” or something along those lines. They aren’t personalised at all. I’ve said that I can’t really jump a lot and also want to focus on building my lower body, but it’s obviously just generic workouts for anyone. Additionally, there was promise of a 1 to 1 LIVE weekly check in which I have no idea what that is. There is a once per week group zoom meeting which I can never make due to work. I talked to the coach about this who recommended I post something to find a time that would work for others who can’t make it as well as an every other week thing which I did, and then was just completely ignored and the meeting continues at the same time. There is no way to know if your form is correct because no one ever sees you doing the exercise like a personal trainer would. Really disappointed that I committed to 9 months and am not getting even half of what was promised. Lastly, I am certain that the recipes for the meal plan are AI written just to meet whatever your macros are.
The food log is terrible, I add foods that I regularly eat and unless it was recently imputed, it “forgets” the food. Also the macros only count fat, carbs, protein…no fiber, sodium, etc. so I use a completely different app for that.

Its ok
I scanned an item everything was wrong. You cant change the cals protein etc, cant add a recipe unless you select items. Manually entering stuff you cant seleect the servicing size. It like all over the place where can but cant do something.
Unprofessional Company
I signed on as a partner with Lenus in good faith, expecting consistent support and transparent billing. Unfortunately, after an initial period of solid service, my account manager changed multiple times and the support quality dropped significantly.
Most concerning: I was charged nearly $900 without any prior notice, invoice, or explanation—more than a year after the original agreement timeline. I reached out immediately, but after multiple emails over several days, they told me it was due to “unforeseen circumstances” on their end then after rebutting, I have still received no response.
This kind of unprofessionalism and lack of accountability is incredibly disappointing for a company that claims to support coaches in running high-integrity businesses. I would caution other coaches not to join, to get everything in writing and be prepared to advocate for yourself.

No Professional/certified coaches, just Phony Fitness Influencers (BEWARE)
I honestly don’t even know where to begin! $185 a month for six months only to get absolutely no constructive feedback and actions for improvements, the workouts were not tailored to me whatsoever. This “coach” not ONCE gave me any instructions on how to properly perform any of the workouts, those videos of the workouts were useless for the most part leading me to just google how to do them properly anyways, ADVANCED workouts that were WAY out of my current physical capabilities but suggested for me to “try”, the amount of workouts that targets the same exact muscle groups in one day were very questionable, and making my sessions sometime pushing over 3 hours in the gym just to finish them. NO REST DAYS! The final nail on the coffin was when I asked what am I doing wrong and how can I readjust, the answer I got was a snarky “what do you want me to do?”. My “coach” was self proclaimed “I know what I’m doing, I’ve been doing this for a long time”. I can now confidently beg to differ. Do yourself a HUGE favor and find an actual qualified professionally certified fitness coach and nutritionist. Do not be lead by these fitness influencers who’s only after money and clout.
