Really fun word attack game

I have played through so many times. I wish there was an update with more levels.

Love it!

I've played Letter Quest on Steam for a while. Was pleased to see it in the App Store and even more surprised that it is FREE. The basis of the game is similar to Boggle.... The Grimm character is cute, monsters are witty/creative and the cursed tiles add challenge.

Great :)

It’s fun and cute, and although it won’t fill the hole Bookworm Adventures left in my heart, it is satisfying.

There’s words missing like mammory, shroom, Ferris and any compact words (such as ziptie)

And I have requests like making big damage attacks more exciting, gems cause something to happen to the enemy, mini games, more levels ofcourse. Just something a little more immersive!

Good game, but…

This is a good game, very enjoyable and challenging. Only problem is you are supposed to be able to watch a video to earn extra crystals. I downloaded this game more than a week ago and have yet to have a single video be available for earning extra crystals. This is frustrating and seems very much like false advertising to me. If you say, we can watch a video to earn crystals, gosh darn it let us watch a video!

Love this game! Need more than 30 levels.

I’ve been playing this game for years. I love it! My only complaint is level 30 is the end of the game! Need more levels, please!

I love this game!

This game is so unique and fun! I love that each word does a certain amount of damage. A logic word puzzle and fighting game into one! Love that u can upgrade ur weapon, health, etc. and that you can gain skills with the books. Fantastjob with this one Devs 😄👏🏻👏🏻

My Favorite IOS Game!

For me, it’s just plain fun with a bit of quick thinking and vocabulary knowledge thrown in! An expansion or updated version would be great!

Lots of good points

Still using free version, but think I will pay soon. Like others I have found the dictionary limiting. But the game itself is fun. Hoping if I pay, maybe the letter board will not fill with 6 x M and 8 x E ( for example.)

if you miss Bookworm Adventures, get this!

Fun game, and as close as I can find to Bookworm Adventures. Not enough terrible puns, though!

Game shifted to the left

One of my all time favorite games, I’ve been coming back to for years. But suddenly the whole game is shifted to the left of the screen and the a 1/4 of the screen is a black space. It seems to have just happened, as I was playing yesterday and it was normal. I restarted my phone, I deleted and reinstalled the app, and it’s still all black on the right side. It would be really great to see this bug fixed…. Though, I doubt developers will see this any time soon. Great game either way.

Great game, but no sound

I was always a Bookworm Adventures fan and bought Letter Quest on Steam a year or so ago. I really enjoy the game. I was pleased to see it available for iOS as well. Now I can take it with me wherever I go.

It’s Almost Bookworm Adventures!

I’ve been looking for a game like bookworm adventures, but didn’t find a comparable one until now. Unfortunately the game is a bit old and as such has not been updated in 3 years at the time of my review. I hope that changes, the only reason for the 4 stars is because the game’s resolution is wonky, it does not take up my full screen, there is a black bar on the right and bottom of the screen. I’ve tried it on a different generation iPhone, same issue. Otherwise, great game.

Homeschool Mom

We used to have a similar PC game called Bookworm Adventures and this is the only app that comes close to that. So fun and so cute; challenging enough for adults, simple enough for children. We use this app in our homeschool routine and the kids love it. I do too. Wish they’d come back online and reintroduce ads for gems and more levels. Great game!

Upgrades don’t help

I just purchased this game today to give it a whirl. Took the advice the developers made about upgrading health. It doesn’t help. Got to level 10 and it didn’t matter what words I made, there was no damage done to the enemy so I kept losing. Not worth it.

Love it. Awaiting update to match Nintendo Switch edition.

I play this OTG all of the time. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been updated to match the Nintendo Switch version that I love dearly. This is one game, even after nearly a decade, I still return to and can enjoy without fail.

Great Game!

I have really enjoyed this game so far! I wish there was a real incentive to buy the full game. With the exception of additional weapons, I’m not sure. However, as a word of thanks, I might just do it anyway. One suggestion…. Add more levels, have the availability of extra book slots, more powers weapons, and more quests! Otherwise, I love it!

Extremely Fun Word RPG

I was looking for a word RPG game and found this, and it’s been extremely fun to play!

A very wonderful game, but there is one issue

I played through the game entirely on my old phone, but on my current 8+ one with updated iOS, it only takes up about 2/3 of the screen, pushed into a corner. I would love to play it again, but I don’t think I really can with this issue.

Favorite Game - Yet So Disappointed....

I love everything about this game! I have played it on and off for over 7 years now. There is only one major complaint and that is when you get to level 30...well that’s it. I mean come on! It’s a word game in which the player chooses letters from a board of random letter tiles and you are telling me 30 levels was all the developers could muster? Games like these should theoretically be capable of continuing indefinitely - or at least past level 30!!! - because they are the simplest, most cut and dry, with infinite answer possibilities, etc. SO DISAPPOINTED because I loved what little game content there is.
