Correct reading needs multiple app restarts

To get a correct reading of the burned calories the app needs to be restarted multiple times. It looks more like a slot machine with range from 0kcal to 2300kcal, which has nothing to do with the correct data. After 3 or for restarts it shows the correct number. There is no way that this app is accurate.

App is amazing the only thing that I change is too many reminders to upgrade this app but is very friendly and I totally recommend it

Not paying for scanning food

When downloading this I was expecting a feature at the bottom for EVERYONE to scan everything just by what your eating not just the barcode. I make meals at house not just things that have barcodes but i was hit with having to pay for it to scan my food instead of just a bar code

Awkward to Use

The app is not user friendly. I can’t seem to change from grams to ounces. Adding recipes is awkward. And when the AI is wrong, it’s impossible to correct it. You just have to start over. I’m also annoyed that I paid for a year, have only used 4 days, and I can’t find a link that allows a person to contact the company to ask for help or to ask for a refund. Ugh.

Slop Machine

As an ultramarathon guy, I need a nutrition app that can keep up with big mileage, huge calorie demands, and serious fueling. Lifesum is not that app.

The AI feature is honestly misleading. The app talks up its AI like it is some next-level nutrition coach, but the actual experience does not match the hype. It feels like the app is straight-up slop machine and not in an edible way.

The calories Lifesum logs do not always match the numbers it says it is logging. That is a huge issue when you are trying to fuel a 50K, recover after a long run, or make sure you are not accidentally under-eating. If I cannot trust the numbers, what is the point, bro?

The UI is also clunky and frustrating. Basic stuff takes too many taps, menus are not where you expect them to be, and the whole app feels harder to use than it needs to be. When I am tired after a long training day, I do not want to wrestle with a confusing food tracker.

Lifesum might work for casual calorie counting, but for endurance athletes who need accurate numbers, useful coaching, and a smooth experience, it misses the mark. I would look elsewhere, brochacho.
