About

LiftBar is a workout-tracking app that gives you the most simple user experience possible. It has no Ai-coach, social-feed or any other feature that distracts you from just logging your workouts and moving on with your day. It’s also completely free and has no ads. LiftBar’s core features are logging workouts, viewing your exercise progression, and making templates. A more comprehensive list: Auto-Fill (my personal favorite): Fill every set in your workout with your previous values, plus whatever amount you enter. Exercise Tracking: Track your exercise progression with a graph, or view the best set from each workout under the "Top Sets" header. Failure Marking: Mark any set as a failure set. Workout Clock: Keep track of how long your workout has been. Workout Cards: Every logged workout gets its own card in the History tab. Open it to view the workout or save it as a template. Template Creation: Create templates so you don't have to add the same exercises every time. Workout Logging: Start a workout from a template or create one from scratch.

What's New in LiftBar

1.4.1

August 31, 2026

This update brings bug fixes, app layout improvements and several new features. Here are the most important ones: Feature: You can now view a progression graph for every exercise and toggle said graph over 4 metrics: Heaviest weight, Best 1RM, Best Set Volume and Session Volume. Feature: The workout cards UI has been updated to give you a more comprehensive view of what you did in your workout. Change: Popups have been replaced by bottom sheets so each option has more room and therefore is easier to press. Change: The exercise history and workout history have been split up into two tabs. One for your workout history(called ‘History’) and one for your exercise history(called ’Exercises’). Fix: Before, when you pressed a letter on the numbers keyboard while having text highlighted, what you typed didn't replace the content - it just added to it. This is now fixed.
